“Went to Naked Mountain Winery for the first time today, and it will definitely not be the last! The owner was very helpful in introducing us to the different choices of wines. Tasted a few until we found the one we liked, ordered a bottle, and sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the magnificent views. Decided to stay for lunch and ordered up 2 of the few panini choices. Met a few different people there enjoying the same beautiful scenery and wine. The food and wine were delicious as well as the excellent service. We will definitely be back!“

“Arterra Wines is always a 5/5 experience. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere amazing, and the wine delicious. Their wine until nine events are highly recommended, with live music and bonfire.
Even if not going to an event, their tasting room is cozy and spacious. The atmosphere and dress are casual. Flights are $20 and give you a great sampling of what's on offer.
Personal recommendations: I've never had a bad red wine from them, and their blueberry apple wine is a local favorite that everyone loves.“

“I came to celebrate my birthday with a group of seven friends. We originally had a reservation for six people and I added an additional two, in a seprate online reservation. I called ahead to let them know we were running late. We were told it was okay and they would still be able to accommodate us. When we arrived my party was at two separate tables. One table was for two and the other was for six. I asked the waitress if it was possible to move the two guest to our table of six. She said "no" and I said "okay, I understand." Then the general manger Ken Gray came over yelling at my me and my table of guests. He aggressively told me that they can't do that, however, it was unnecessary because it was already understood and accepted. We enjoyed our $800 tasting until, Ken Gray came back again, aggressively telling us that we needed to get up because the next party was there. I proceeded to get up to go outside and he came back again after I left yelling at my guests. I felt discriminated against and definitely did not feel welcomed at Crimson Lane Vineyards as an African American woman. I was extremely disappointed in Ken Gray's aggressive behavior. It put a damper on my birthday celebration!“

Their George wine is one of the best reds in VA, and they also have a great selection of unique wines from around the world to try. “I am not a wine lover, but my boyfriend is. We took an impromptu trip to this winery yesterday and let me tell you, as soon as I walked in the door it felt like home. The owner greeted us at the door and asked what kind of wines or alcohol in general we normally go for. He then walked us over to the bar and had me, since I'm the picky one, try a few before selecting what I want to sip on! I actually found one that I enjoyed, a first! A total win!
