Their George wine is one of the best reds in VA, and they also have a great selection of unique wines from around the world to try. “I came to celebrate my birthday with a group of seven friends. We originally had a reservation for six people and I added an additional two, in a seprate online reservation. I called ahead to let them know we were running late. We were told it was okay and they would still be able to accommodate us. When we arrived my party was at two separate tables. One table was for two and the other was for six. I asked the waitress if it was possible to move the two guest to our table of six. She said "no" and I said "okay, I understand." Then the general manger Ken Gray came over yelling at my me and my table of guests. He aggressively told me that they can't do that, however, it was unnecessary because it was already understood and accepted. We enjoyed our $800 tasting until, Ken Gray came back again, aggressively telling us that we needed to get up because the next party was there. I proceeded to get up to go outside and he came back again after I left yelling at my guests. I felt discriminated against and definitely did not feel welcomed at Crimson Lane Vineyards as an African American woman. I was extremely disappointed in Ken Gray's aggressive behavior. It put a damper on my birthday celebration!“

Also, the culinary touches are the cherry on top—Indian food pairings, small plates, samosas, etc.—gives it an extra dimension you don’t often find at wineries.
