“I've never been to a Pizza Hut Express before, but I assume the only difference is the size of the restaurant, and the options available. I ordered 2 personal pan cheese pizzas and an order of bread sticks, which she said would take about 10 minutes, but I feel like I only waited maybe 5, and everything was delicious!! It was an unexpected treat on a VERY long trip back home to Florida!”

“Bathrooms were clean! There was a long cafe line but it moved quickly! I had a larger order and didn’t wait too long for it! Emporia was nice and accurate. Clean, Hazel made my drink on the bar closest to cafe and she was incredibly kind while working hard and ms Taylor was patient with me while I ordered a larger number of items for my road trip 👌🏻 they did a great job 💕 as someone who will order in the dmv area where customer service is severely lacking along with drink accuracy - this was a nice change! We had a chocolate cream cold brew, a toasted coconut cream cold brew a few bags of popcorn to go and three breakfast items 👌🏻”

“Happened upon this delightfully delicious bakery and it's owner by luck. Owner was delightful . Loved that she shared the history behind the building that houses her incredibly delicious confections. We were passing through which is unfortunate as it means there will be no opportunity to enjoy more of what I chose or to try other detectible items.”

I came by on a recommendation it was a perfect visit they took the time to show me their shop gave me a run down of the history of the house and served mesome of the best donuts I've ever had !!I highly recommend the shop and the next time I'm in town I will be returning.”

“Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon once we finished up a softball tournament in Emporia. We shocked the staff with a party of 30, mostly 9 year olds, with no warning. The staff handled themselves and the situation with the utmost professionalism that was greatly appreciated by our entire party. I'm fairly certain we were in and out in less than an hour and a half. To me, that speaks volumes to the leadership of the place. The food was great. Service was great. The atmosphere was perfect! The other parents and myself couldn't have been more pleased with our experience and we will definitely return when we are in the area again! My 3 year old throughly enjoyed the wings!”

“BEST BURRITO EVER!!It was a little hard to find, unfortunately our gps took us to the building next door, and unfortunately no signs out front. However once we found it, omg! I ordered the burrito Victoria, it had beef, shrimp, and chicken in it, along with rice and all kinds of ingredients. The biggest burrito ever!! However it was by far the best tasting burrito that I've ever eaten! And I've had a lot of burritos in my time, this is a great place to grab a cheap quick bite. They have $4 meals!!! So perfect! Affordable and yummy can't beat that! Definitely will be back again and again!”

“We were just at Chick Fil A in Emporia, VA. As we were walking out of the restaurant to our vehicle the fry bag ripped and spilled the food across the parking lot. Jason Riddle was walking to his vehicle to leave as this happened and saw it. He immediately jumped in to help and fix it even though it was not anyone’s fault but our own. He did not have to go out of his way and he did. Super helpful and extremely nice. Thank you, Jason!”

“This Starbucks was very clean, quick, and friendly. The staff all had smiles on their faces and were reassuring when a woman in front of me got confused. The woman expressed she didn't frequent Starbucks when she ordered wrong. Staff was patient and told her it was OK and take her time. I feel like I was in and out in less than a couple minutes. Their drive thru was open today. It is in a great location, easy to get in and out, also if someone in your group doesn't want Starbucks, there is a Subway and a gas station attached. Perfect place to stop if traveling!”

“We were on our way from Busch Gardens Williamsburg filming for our channel and randomly found this diner… loved the ambience.. very friendly staff and great reasonably priced menu …. I had a chili cheese dog (the hot dog was red .. never tried those before) and a hot grilled ham and cheese with French fries … Rock had Philly Cheesesteak with Onion Rings. Total cost for all that food and 2 soft drinks was $27. They had homemade pies… but we were too full for dessert.. thanks to all the ladies working and making our first and probably only visit!!”

“A no frills place that serves wonderful fried chicken! The chicken is much better quality than other fast food restaurants. And the Biscuit and the Red-beans-and-rice where good too. Service was first rate. Plenty of seating. Totally clean. Easy highway access.”

“I never have written a review for a fast food place other than to give feedback for Door Dash. But I felt like based on my experience yesterday, I thought this location deserves a nice review. Most times when people do a review for fast food, it’s to complain. However, I would like to do the opposite. I actually tried to fill out the survey from the receipt, but it wouldn’t let me proceed further based on the numbers I plugged in. Anyway, I thought I would add it to Google. I visited this location yesterday afternoon while passing through Emporia, driving from VA to NC. Stopped to get a bite to eat through the drive thru. Ordered a burger combo, nuggets and a drink. The main reason I was willing to write a review was because of the service, the lady cashier at the window was so nice and accommodating. She helped with my order because I just wanted a Bacon cheeseburger and they didn’t have the King Jr so she suggested of getting what I wanted without getting something too much for me to eat. It was like talking to a family member through the microphone. It took a little time to get my food. But not long, it was worth it because the food was hot, fries crispy and not limp. Burger and nuggets were not smushed, or crusty as if they were just sitting under a hot lamp for the last hour. All condiments were in the bag and plenty of napkins too. So, thanks for the great food and customer service. Keep up the good work!”
