“Service was excellent! Ethan and Benny took great care of us. The ambiance was wonderful: intimate but in a relaxed fashion. The two of them whipped up some excellent drinks for us. Both the menu options and the dealer’s choice were amazing each time. We got the buffalo chicken dip. It was delicious but just not my favorite. For the happy hour price, it was absolutely worth it! Highly recommend for hours of feel-good vibes.“

“Super late review, I know. I was there during January 20th, 2025 timeline. With many of our colleagues there, we hoped there would be a place to unwind and the staff at Black Olive didn't disappoint. I want to specifically thank Lisa and Zuri for their kindness, exceptional service, and great mixology skills. They went above and beyond for all of us to ensure we had a wonderful time at the pool tables, darts, cornball, and our drinks were made promptly and accurately. “I went today for a Galentine’s lunch, and it was such a great experience. Parking was easy and accessible, and the restaurant is tucked into the cutest little shopping center. I’d never been there before, so this was my first visit. When we arrived for our 12pm reservation, we were seated right away, even though our full party hadn’t arrived yet. which was really nice. We were able to grab a drink while we waited. The ambience is adorable and quiet, so you can actually hold a conversation. The seating was comfortable, too.
We did the Sunday brunch buffet option and everything was super good definitely good quality food. The only thing I would’ve loved is some sort of crackers with the charcuterie options (unless I missed it) and it’s so minor but honestly, that was my only note. Everything across the board was delicious. Our waiter was also fantastic: super attentive, kept our water refilled, refreshed our drinks, made sure we had everything we needed, and gave good drink recommendations. I had a mimosa and it was really well-proportioned and super tasty.

“We’re staying at the Bar Harbor KOA right down the road from the restaurant. We tried it out for lunch today, and everything was delicious! We had the cheese curds as an appetizer and the blackened haddock sandwiches for our main courses. We loved everything! Very fresh food and great service as well!“

“Parallel has become one of our favorite go-to spots for happy hour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively. We absolutely love the duck fat fries. They are crisp and thick cut. The fried pickles are also very good and if the kids are with us we get the chicken and waffles and kids mac n cheese. It's an amazing gourmet mac n cheese and the fresh fruit side is picture perfect every time.

Montepulciano has become one of our favorite wines. I also enjoy the pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc in the summer. We weren't fans of the chardonnay, but the rest of the wines more than make up for it. Great old fashioned - well balanced.

Service has always been good. All the servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. We love the atmosphere as well. Very rustic and down to earth.“

“I recently hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Party Bar and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. I opted for a bar buyout to make it a private event, and Dana, the events manager, was fantastic to work with. She was incredibly detailed, communicative, and accommodating—especially helpful since I was planning from out of town. On the night of the dinner, our bartenders—Carter, Tyler, and Chris—were outstanding. Not only did they provide excellent service, but they also ensured the buffet stayed stocked throughout the entire three-hour event. Carter even set out to-go boxes at the end of the night so guests could take leftovers home, ensuring nothing went to waste. Everyone raved about the food, and the space was more spacious than I expected. By rearranging the tables, I was able to comfortably seat all 65 guests. I highly recommend the Party Bar for any event or just a fun night out with great food, drinks, and service!“

“Looking for a great breakfast / lunch / dinner spot? Look no frother than the Purcellville Pub. Driving through the area around lunch time and saw a review about the Fish & Chips and had to stop and verify. And no doubt - great crispy Fish & Chips. 2 large filets with basket of fries. I was really, really good. We also tried the Barrel Burger and the BBQ sauce with crispy bacon and fried onions was very good as well. We left full bummed it’s a location we might only get to once. So glad we did.“
