“I stop by this Popeyes drive-thru fairly frequently as it is on my commute route home. I normally only pick up something small for the ride home, but today I was bringing dinner to my family. 2 of the 3 meals I ordered were perfect, but my own meal was incorrect (3 chicken strips instead of a bacon&cheese sandwich).
It was busy, so I figured there had been a mix up. I really wanted the sandwich (as it was a change from my normal order), so I brought the food inside. The person who I ordered from showed me the receipt (which I was not given at the drive thru) and it said #3 like I ordered, but it was not the #3 that was posted on the signage in the drive-thru or inside.
In all of this confusion over the combo number, an employee, who I assume was a manager, asked what they could do to fix this. They gave me the sandwich thought I’d already ordered and I was on my way.
The employees listened to my issue and found a way to resolve it. They were able to calmly deal with me, who was tired and perhaps a little hangry. I appreciate the courtesy shown.
Good tasted great as always. I hope the computer system issue is resolved soon, as I am assuming that is why a different Combo is associated with the one physically posted. Next time, I will probably be going back to my normal order.“
“I had such an AMAZING chicken sandwich from this place today! Literally one of the best Popeyes chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. 2/7/24 at 5:30. This place usually serves nice hot chicken sandwiches which I really appreciate.Also if you go on Thursday afternoon, the food is better on other days, whoever is manager on Thursday does a great job“
