“We love eating here! Great staff, and great food.“
“Small family owned winery with amazing wines! Our group did a tasting and I most enjoyed their sparkling Chardonnay, merlot, and barouche red. We met Mike the winemaker and he along with his staff were all very welcoming. We’ll be back to visit in the fall!“
“Bridgette, Tiffanie, and Lauren were amazing and really made our group feel welcome. This was our third visit and we joined the wine club after tasting their Black Label Chardonnay. The flights and food are great!“
“Great and beautiful location for family parties. Super Wine treat. Deal for the parties up to 150 people, it is great. Good for wedding, Engagement, Birthday and many other parties. They allow to arrange food from outside as part of the party. Plenty of parking spaces. Great service. We miss non alcohol beverages like coke ,etc. As unexpectedly hot temperature that day, AC is not sufficient to accommodate all the people. But Overall good“
“Great wine. Excellent service and atmosphere. 🍷😁🍷“
“Lovely small vineyard that makes you feel at home. They have great wines, steaks, eggs and other food products. We have been coming here for years and always enjoy our time. Bob is amazing and does so much to make you feel part of the family“
“Delicious bruschetta! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other variations. The wine was also very good. I prefer whites and they were perfect for a hot summer day.
I brought my puppy and he had a blast at the small, adjacent off-leash dog park.“
“I was the only one there & had a great visit with the winemaker/owner.“
“The owners were absolutely delightful, showing us around the beautiful Orchard and honey berry plots. Truly wonderful people! And a wonderful product as well! we love the crisp fresh apple wine and I enjoy putting the honey berry juice in my yogurt every morning. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high-quality source of antioxidants!“
“Stunning views, great wine and an amazing bread snack!“
“Took ourselves on a afternoon wine tour in Purcellville, VA while staying in Harper's Ferry and wish we started here and stayed here. Kacey and Carolyn were amazing hosts. The white pear cinnamon sangria is so good. Michelle Portenier the DJ for Karaoke was amazing and very personalble. Not to mention it is an everyone is accepted establishedment. LGBTQ+ ?️? The environment is wonderful and positive.“
“Highly recommend! I am a huge cider fan so when I saw a new cidery opened in the area I wanted to try it out. They have only been opened for about a month so I hope the word of this place continues to grow. They have some nice indoor seating and also some tables outside with umbrellas, lawn chairs, and corn hole boards. The ciders were all delicious. I bought a few bottles to take home with me as well. I can’t wait to come back one day and try the sangria flight. I stuck to the cider flight and glasses this time, but I’m excited to go back to try more. The gentleman who helped us out was very nice and shared all about the place and their ciders. You are able to buy flights, ciders by the glass, or a bottle to share on site. 10/10 recommend you try this place and their ciders!“
“My partner and I visited this cidery during our stay at a bed and breakfast nearby. We really enjoyed the cider flight and wine flight! The mulled cider wine was a nice touch! This place can be tricky to get to if you plan on using an Uber or Lyft. The workers were so kind. One of the workers helped us get to the brewery nearby and back to our bed and breakfast because Lyft rides were so hard to get to. This is definitely worth a visit!“
“Great little winery,Great wine selection, especially loved the cab sav and the unusual chardonnay.Very good food selection as well, and a huge shout out to Angle, our hostess and sumalie (I'm probably misspelling it) for such a great service and making our visit so fun“
“First visit today. Lovely venue. Nice wine and food. Kids and pets…witnessed a couple with 3 dogs who had no control over them. One pet fight with another dog guest. Then witnessed a small child having her hand bitten by one of the dogs. I hope the owners of the winery have sufficient insurance to allow anyone…especially children and babies, and dogs to enjoy the venue. Great to be family and pet friendly…but is that a wise business decision? Not sure that alcohol, children and pets are a wise and safe business practice…what happened to baby and pet sitters for an afternoon out?“
“Found this hidden gem while in the area for an autumn hike. I love checking out local businesses so I thought I'd give it a try. The ciders and libations here are for the adventurous tastebuds. From the agricultural lesson in describing their product to the scents and tastes of the ciders, it is a full sensory experience. Even one of the ciders I didn't care for evoked memories. My favorite was the Pairing. One sip and I melted into my chair in full relaxation. It was the kind of taste where I could curl up in a blanket in a dusty old library with a book and just sip for hours. As I said - full sensory experience. If you have adventurous tastebuds and a penchant for nostalgia, give Willow Oaks a try.“
“I didn't remember her name, but the bar keep tonight was so lovely. She was so knowledgeable about the varieties of drinks and matched me well with three Banana Hammock. Melissa? Molly? Melanie? Anyway, so nice and we had some good conversion too!“
“Casual, friendly, and the best wine on the east coast!“
“A quiet and very relaxing venue, and the owners are extremely friendly and engaged. The red wines are especially good. They tend to have a smooth flavor similar to California wines.“
“Very cozy winery set in a relaxing rural setting. This is the ‘Goldilocks’ winery in VA; not too big, not too small, but just right. Wines were very good, the reds were superior with a winemaker that understands to let reds age before releasing them. Matt was our server and he was great. Highly recommended for a classic Old Dominion vineyard experience.“
“Great hard apple cider! Great pretzel’s!“
“Nice vineyard, plenty of tables and selection of wines. The place was nice, but minus one star for the wines. The best one we had was Chere Marie. Had two different flights and we enjoy the Chere Marie white wine which is similar to Reislings. It has live singer too, overall a fun day with awesome weather.“
“The grounds are beautiful and serene. The wine is decent, but a bit pricey. Food was average.
The only thing we did not enjoy a whole lot is the seating/table side service. We were sat by the host and had a server who waited on us. While the service was good, it took away from our experience. This is a winery, not a restaurant. We like to just grab whichever seat we like most and get wine/food at the centralized location when we are ready. Having table side service felt intrusive. We come to wineries to get away from people and decompress, not to feel forced into small talk and needing to interact with yet another person. If you begin catering to introverts in addition to your usual crowd, we might be back and recommend you to our friends and family.“
