The charming country store vibe paired with the onsite bakery made for such a delightful experience. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by heavenly aromas that make it impossible to leave empty-handed. I tried the French ham and cheese quiche—absolutely scrumptious and almost tempting enough to buy a whole one to take home! Their selection of pies is incredible, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a fig scone too. I’ll definitely be back to sample more of their delicious treats!“

“Four of us did a wine tasting and had 2 pizzas and their tostadas. We loved their special to get 1 pizza and 2 glasses of wine. We each brought a bottle to take home and share; we really enjoyed both their food and wine. Next time we will try their beer side. They had plenty of space (we enjoyed the loft) and the views were good.“

“To be honest I did visit Cobbler Mountain on a Friday and their website said that you should make a reservation. When I approached the door an employee said to come right in. I was excited because it is off the beaten path and I had no cell service to call.

The Great Harvest Bread Company was onsite for the weekend. They had a delicious veggie sandwich they took the cheese off of to meet my dietary needs. I am happy they were there because I had been hiking and was hungry!

I chose a flight of ciders (all were good so I can't recommend a specific flavor). The wooden holder they served it in was cute, but not practical. Be careful when taking it off the bar because the back of it is open. It will tip over if you're not careful.

I didn't get to see the tasting room because they were preparing for a busy Father's Day weekend. I had to go up in the loft or suffer the heat outside. The loft is not a fun place to be, I might add. It's stuffy and no one else went up there.

Overall it was okay, the service was average (except for the Great Harvest Bread Company). I might go back but it won't be my first choice.“

“King Street Oyster Bar in Downtown Middleburg is truly a gem, the food is fresh & delicious. The service was flawless, the drinks are very creative and tasty. The gelato is by far THE BEST gelato I have ever tasted. They also offer a great variety of food & Drinks for their Happy Hour. ❤️❤️“

“Server was inundated with customers and never brought me the beer I ordered. When steaks arrived server, not the one we started with, asked if we needed anything else. I mentioned the beer and said to just forget about it. He must have told manager as she showed up immediately and offered the beer at no charge. I refused but she insisted so it was delivered. Nice gesture that kind of made up for original ommission.“

“This is the best restaurant in the area. Yes they’re fancier places, more expensive places, but this is my favorite. El agave is a very small chain. I love all of the food I’ve ever had here. Each time down you receive salsa and chips, and they are so delicious. The salsa is so fresh, and the chips come out hot and crispy.

Service is always excellent, the food comes out quickly and efficiently. I guess my favorite dish is probably fajitas. I got chicken topped with chorizo last time I was there, it was excellent.

“Sunday, April 22, 2024, my wife and I were entertained at Delaplane Cellars tasting room by our old friends Keith & Viqui Dill AKA the Dill Pickers. We had a fantastic time listening to some great Bluegrass and Blues selections while enjoying several glasses of exquisite wine. We are hoping that they will book the Dill Pickers in the future and give us more than one day's notice so we can invite several friends to their venue. The staff were very courteous and attentive to our needs. As a disabled Vietnam veteran, I sometimes am not the most graceful so when I accidentally knocked over my glass of wine the staff were there instantly to clean up the mess and replace my wine. Our visit was exhilarating and the views were beautiful.“

“We went here for Mother’s Day brunch. It was very good. The food was tasty and the service was great. It was a long drive from DC, but very nice to be in the country side. The steak and eggs were good, eggs over cooked a bit. The roasted Brussels sprouts were excellent. And the peanut butter pie awesome! The bloody mary was one of the best I’ve had. Not too spicy. I’d definitely recommend this place.“

“We arrived at the Red Horse Tavern when outside patio seating was crowded with a 45-minute wait but inside we were greeted by a young man and given our choice of three tables in a small room to the right. We were waited on very quickly for drinks and food arrived timely. I couldn't believe how good the Irish burger and salad was, and my wife's Salmon was excellent. Our friends raved about their burgers with sweet potato and regular fries. Great servers made the whole experience relaxing. We felt special even though the room was full within ten minutes when we sat down. We definitely will return, and the prices are fantastic!“

Bri and Hannah ensured that my meal was perfect from start to finish, frequently checking in to see if I needed anything and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor throughout.

I also want to give a special shout-out to P-mam, who has always been a wonderful presence at the restaurant. Their dedication to excellent service and quality food is evident in every visit.
