“This was a nice experience. It is outdoors with table service. The server was very pleasant. Food was better and tastier than we all expected from a place like this. My wife's burger was slightly over cooked from what she requested, but hey, this ain't a burger joint. My Bahn Mi sandwich was not totally authentic, but hey, it's not a Vietnamese restaurant - still very good. We liked the chicken sandwich and wings. We would certainly go there again.“
“🌄 Massanutten Overnight Stay: Here's What to Know 🛶🦌🎉 I recently had the chance to spend a night at Massanutten Resort, and let me just say — if you think you’ve seen it all before, think again. Whether you're staying for business, fun, or something in between, this place is like a little mountain town of its own. You could easily spend a week here and still not hit everything. ✨ Arrival & Check-In We checked in around 1PM on a Thursday. It was smooth, quick, and the staff was friendly. One thing to note: there are two exits out of the parking lot, and the resort actually continues up the mountain across the road, which wasn’t super clear up front. A little more signage or direction at check-in would’ve been helpful — but once you're on your way, the signage kicks in and makes exploring easier. This place is huge — full-on neighborhoods, rental communities, and at least 12 different kinds of fun, from go-karts to golf to hiking trails with stunning overlooks that are totally worth wandering off the path for. 🏡 The Condo We stayed in the Woodstone area. Condo was updated, clean, and surprisingly spacious. The full kitchen had everything we needed, and the jacuzzi tub in the main area was a great bonus (pro tip: bring bath salts or bubbles if you’re a soak person). One small suggestion: a display basket in the kitchen area for fruit or snacks would be a handy touch. We made it work, but it stood out. 🚬 Smoker-Friendly Balcony (Yes, Really) Here’s something you don’t see often: the balcony allows smoking. One of us is a smoker, so it was nice to see a resort acknowledge it with clear rules instead of pretending people don’t do it. It was appreciated. An ashtray would be helpful, but hey — props for even allowing it at all. 🧖♀️ Rec Center = Hidden Gem The indoor/outdoor pools were clean and inviting, and the eucalyptus steam room hit the reset button for all of us. Sauna, loungers, pool tables, arcade, and a very decent gym — just don’t forget closed-toed shoes and proper attire if you want to use the equipment. (Let’s just say we learned the hard way.) 🍽️ Campfire Grill = Worth the Trip Alone Dinner was hands-down one of the best parts of the stay. The crispy catfish with roasted corn remoulade was perfection, and the Campfire Burger didn’t miss. Even the “kid food” was solid. This place isn’t just convenient — it’s genuinely good. Would honestly come back for the food alone. 🎢 Coming Soon: A Rollercoaster. Yes, Really. They’re currently building a rollercoaster into the side of the mountain that’ll cross over the road — coming 2026. It’s giving real alpine adventure energy. Can’t wait to see that finished. 💦 Other Highlights Didn’t get to explore the indoor waterpark this time (it’s open to the public, just outside the resort and not part of the resort itself!), but it’s nice to know it’s nearby. Definitely something to keep in mind for longer stays or families. 🛠️ A Small Glitch, Handled Well We had an issue with our lock after check-in — had to go back to the desk and wait for maintenance, but staff was helpful and quick to respond. What was more concerning: the next morning, we noticed the door was slightly open. Luckily, I had made a mental note when reading the check-in instructions — they specifically mentioned using the chain lock before bed, and I’m so glad I latched it. Our room was very separated, so honestly, we wouldn’t have heard a thing if someone had come in. Definitely unsettling, but staff reassured me they could check key swipes and entry logs — and said they would. That kind of transparency makes a big difference. ✨ Final Take If you’re looking for a place that mixes fresh mountain air with a ton of activities, relaxing spaces, and solid service — Massanutten’s worth checking out. Whether it’s a full-on vacation, a quick overnight, or something in between, this resort has the space and variety to fit just about any kind of stay.“

“We had the most amazing Cream of Crab soup I have ever eaten in my life! Kudos to the chef! What an awesome special that should be on the menu everyday! It was perfect! Being born in New Orleans, I am a bit of a snob and that hit it out of the park! The staff was kind and courteous, knowledgable as well as helpful! The shrimp Alfredo was amazing as well! With food and service above and beyond what we ever expected..we will be back for more!
Dietary restrictions: Very informed and conscious regarding allergies and sensitivity.“

“Adam Caldwell was a wonderful waiter. I had my entire family with my tonight and at one point in the night my child was crying. Adam Caldwell brought out a pack and play and sang my baby to sleep with a lullaby. After this, he offered me a free oil change and tire rotation as he held my hand out to my car. I would highly recommend eating at this establishment, as long as you ask for Adam Caldwell.“

“Called 3 times to ask about takeaway orders, no one answered.
Ordered 1 appetizer and 3 cocktails: the cocktails were good (I had the campfire skipper - one of those dangerous fruity drinks that you're tempted to order half a dozen of because you can't taste the alcohol so don't realize how much you've had), but the cheese dip app was overpriced (12 preztels with a little skillet of dip that could reasonably cover a 20 count) - and there's an upcharge for extra pretzels.
Friendly staff: everyone from the hostess Caroline to our server (her name started with a J, and I'm so sorry I can't remember it, but shout out to her) and the assistant manager Gabe. They're all lovely.
It's a good thing we only came for drinks, because by the time our order came out, we had had to listen to a screaming toddler for nearly 10 minutes. If we'd planned to stay longer, I would have had words with the manager about the noise - not the restaurant's fault, but had I stayed longer, definitely something I would expect a manager to step in about.“
