“I saw this place on my way back from dropping off construction materials in Kilmarnock. First thing I always try is the pizza. The cheese was falling off the pizza like in the goofy movie. Absolutely delicious. Wonderful customer service as well. Will return anytime I'm passing by to try more things.”

The food was home cooking! I felt like I was at home!! I got the fried oyster dinner and my hubby got the hamburger steak with gravy! And we were told they have the best homemade pies so we took a chocolate meringue and a buttermilk pecan to go for a late night snack!! So, if your wondering where to go to eat for a great price and country flair please go to Nicks where they treat you like family!!”

“As a small business owner myself, I don't get out much, so when I do, this is one of the places that I like to visit. They make you feel welcome, and their beers are delicious. My son loves their soft pretzels! They have a great indoor space for trivia (our favorite) and other entertainment, as well as a welcoming country setting outdoors. “I live in a nearby neighborhood and I stopped going there because of the uncourteous staff and did not care about the customers plus it was not very clean but I visited toano subway this Sunday and to my surprise the staff was the best that has ever worked there. “I would like to give a big shoutout to Tina and David working tonight. Tina took my order flawlessly even with it being 15 minutes to closing she was very outgoing and had a great attitude. When i got to the window I noticed David preparing my food in the kitchen with a smile on his face and he also talked to me with a great attitude he was also very quick to get my food to me. I know some may say its there job but it is hard to find food workers this dedicated and with such positive attitudes now a days and especially at late night hours. I think both of these hard workers deserve recognition.”

The sandwich artists (one had brown hair and a really cool key necklace and the other had bright red and black hair) were both super friendly and loaded up our subs exactly to our liking! “This was the nastiest Hardees I have ever been in. Had I looked around first I would have never ordered. The employees were rude, there was food and trash all over the floor where they prep. Trash and spilled drinks all over the condiment area, over flowing trash cans, filthy floor, and windows and doors. Now to the employees, one cashier stood with her back to the food holding station, which had unwrapped biscuits, and her hair has hanging on the biscuits. No one was wearing a hair net. They barely spoke to the customers. Ok, now the food. we ordered 2 Famous star burgers and an order of fries. The fries were freshly cooked so I can't t rip them, But the burgers!!! The buns were stale, they each had so much mayonnaise and pickles on them that they slide apart. the meat was cold; they were just gross. unfortunaley, we got our food to go and drove about 3 miles before we stopped and ate. We should have taken it all back. Never ever will I eat at that nasty place again. The health inspector needs to go there and give them code violations. And, management should be fired for allowing the establishment to be run that way!!!! ZERO STARS!!!!!!”
