“This is the kind of place that you go to as a single person trying to get a quality meal without breaking the bank- you then take take someone there for a brunch date- further down the line you make it a regular place for you two. Flash forward you now have a family and introduce the kids to and they also love it. My point is this is the kind of place you will always go to and at every point in your life it will be there for you. I went with my girlfriend and now she's my wife and we still love it. When my Grandmother had severe dementia and didnt enjoy much she still loved going here and the staff and atmosphere gave her the feeling of being somewhere familiar and welcoming. New places opening up wont be like this which is why its so important to keep supporting City Diner- lets not make this a place that we only appreciate once its gone- its a place beyond the food- its a true family restaurant that has been there through multiple generations of my family.“

“Hubby and I ate at the Diner last night ( September 5) for the first time. We live in Maryland,and decided we will patronize the Executive Diner again , and again. Appetizers were wonderful,as was the salad,and entrees. Had to bring some home because of the generous servings! This is our new “ go to”“

“We really like Denny's service and food at a good price. Indira, a server, make suggestions for the great pancakes. I think the strawberry ones were over the top. It is a family restaurant that is really friendly. Good menu for any time of the day.“

“We arrived a bit before out reservation time and we told that a "quiet table" we requested in our reservation "for health reasons" was not available and they tried to seat us in the main dining area at a table with no protection. There was a booth available as the customers just left. We had to insist on our being seated there. After requesting to speak to the manager, they did seat us there. This is a very busy restaurant, but if you reserve with a special request and the reservation is accepted, it should be honored!“
