“Today my husband and I had the opportunity to dine at Fleming. The staff was AMAZING! Matt, the manager was on top of every request, need, and want. As soon as anyone in the restaurant needed anything, we witnessed him assisting the service staff to make sure that it was done immediately. He is the type of manager that people dream of! Wish he were on my team. Luis was our server and was great! He was on top of our every need, was attentive, and easily on of the best servers I've ever had. To round out the team, Juan was behind Luis with any additional support that we needed. Quiet professional with great service; Quick, fast, and in a hurry. The ambiance of the restaurant is hard to find in DC. It was quiet enough for a one on one conversation, but energetic enough to make sure that we were not bored. The food was top notch! My stomach hurts because I should have tapped out 15 minutes ago but the food was too good to stop. I'd recommend the Leviathan wine and tomahawk steak. We are big eaters and could not finish our salads and soup, steak, or desserts! My husband highly recommends the French onion soup, Mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. Overall the service, ambiance, food, and staff were wayyyyyy more than we expected. We look forward to patronizing this location again. I wish I had pics, but we ate too fast.“

“Such a superb dining experience. I was solo so sat at bar and my waiter went above and beyond with exceptional wine and food knowledge and service. The food was subtle, creative and beautifully balanced. Everything just worked. I find US restaurants rarely have ambiance but Tail Up had great lighting even if dining room was fine but unremarkable. It was a brilliant experience of a brilliant kitchen, sommelier and serving team. Thanks for a DC highlight“

“First meal out I can remember in a very long time where nothing seemed rushed despite it being a 7:30 reservation. Ample time given and courteous service throughout. Our host Didier went to great lengths in making sure the order was what we wanted, indulged us and offered additional options and recommendations. It surpassed the already high expectations I was hoping for. We will be back!“

“Wonderful service and excellent food. I wanted a NY Strip Steak and I got one - grilled perfectly. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her grilled salmon and my daughter - 10 years old and very picky - was treated respectfully and was well- accommodated. Highly recommended.“

“We celebrated my fiancée's birthday at The Capital Grille in Chevy Chase, and everything was phenomenal. The service was top-tier—attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely made the evening feel special. From start to finish, the staff made sure we were taken care of without being overbearing. “Food and the service were fantastic. You get lucky and meet a guest who bought my mother a glass of wine for her 89th birthday. It confirms that we do have wonderful people in the world. Thanks to the great customer. The waiter was so good to us that I gave him more than a 20% tip. He was great to all his tables in our area. “We celebrated our 12th year wedding anniversary here, and it was the most amazing dinner. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the diligence of the staff (especially Michael and Devon). We laughed all night long. We also had the honor of meeting the humble Chef Danny Lledó, who curated the AMAZING 10-course meal and wine pairing. Can we talk about how delicious the food is? The BEST ever. We ended the evening with Paulina in the mezzanine. Perfect finish. We cannot thank the chef and staff enough. We will not forget this experience. We can’t wait to come back.“

“Had a great experience and food last night at the Capital Grill. Our server, Nacua, was the best and made my birthday dinner a special experience. She went above and beyond with champagne toast for my birthday celebration and provided excellent recommendations! Food is always excellent dining here!“
