Neiman Marcus Cafe at Tyson's Galleria is stylish and comfortable. The room is quiet, which makes conversation easy. The food is very good, especially the generously proportioned salads. The menu is not long, and that simplifies making a dining choice. Service is excellent. When I am at the Tyson's Galleria, the NM Cafe is where I eat.
Normally the cafe is a favorite lunch spot but today was a little off. The special was crab quiche and it was not available --"not ready yet" at 12:30? Our server was very nice and capable but overwhelmed--hard to get water, etc. I suspect someone had not shown up because normally she is also excellent. I guess this is a long way of saying, love this restaurant but not this time.
Always a wonderful stop. Not just for shopping, but often when commuting from DC to Leesburg. Today the food and service were spectacular. Que at the bar made wonderful drinks and provided service with a smile. Thanks!
