Dingy, unkempt, abandoned. My wife wasn't feeling well so I walked from my hotel to the Safeway in which this StarBlech is housed. I had purchased some food & other stuff to help my wife feel better. Last on the list was a cup of steaming hot chai tea latte for the trifecta. It wasn't to be. As I walked up the counter, I noticed the barista walking away. I stood there a minute until I saw a hand-scrawlded note saying "On break. Back at 6:15." It was 5:54 and I needed to walk back to the hotel with the other goodies. As I walked out, I noticed the barista with their head down on one off the tables. People deserve their breaks. But Safeway management needs to go better on ensuring coverage for those times versus a "too bad, better luck next time" type message.

The older man never got the order right; I asked for a hot latte, and he gave me a black coffee; I told him to correct the order and just poured milk over the black coffee; I just noticed when I got home and was so angry about it.

I come to this location pretty frequently, but lately they hired a new guy who is extremely rude and obviously looks like they hate the job. I asked for an ice drink and they were out of ice so I opted for a hot drink which in turn the employee gave me attitude. I seriously wonder how Starbucks/Safeway does their hiring process.

not even 1 star. I went here today for an Eid treat with my dad, and the tall skinny spindly person who worked there with the tan hair immediately gave me a confused and judgemental look as soon as I placed my order because "caramel ribbon crunch cappuccinos are always coffee" and "if you want a creme one you have to ask for it." like, oh my god I'm so sorry I would never have survived in this capitalist society if I had went on mixing the drink og and variations in in the wrong order. I waited an extraordinarily long time for my drink and when I got it it was the most pathetic plain looking thing ever. not even diy worthy on all recipes from back in the day. I took a sip and went back and explained what had gone wrong, they said "you want a creme one now?" and I said yes. I waited even longer, and got the correct toppings and whipped cream base, but it still looked lackluster, it didn't taste creamy or wellmixed at all, and the coffee flavor was overall so thin w some random sickly sweet syrup in it that wasn't supposed to be there and I actually thought was poison for a minute because I dared to assume that I would know how tomake a Starbucks drink being a teenager in Northern Virginia. the storefront was dark at barely 8:00 and the food shelves were bare. I was floored.

This is the Starbucks inside the Safeway, this is the worst Starbucks I’ve been to, there is two baristas and young lady and an old man, the old man never gets your drink right, pours less than he’s supposed to, and is rude, I been coming here every other day thinking they will get better, but they only get worse, I finally spoke to the manager of the store and their excuse is they are trying to find better people.
