“My first time trying Afghan food and it did not disappoint. My favorite item of the night were the pumpkin dumplings. We had lamb with cilantro and lamb with okra. Everything on the menu you could tell was made fresh and will great ingredients. The lamb was tender and flavorful. We also finished dinner with cardamom ice cream which was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful, definitely on the nicer side as far as dress goes. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Per their website all menu items are halalParking: Located beneath the restaurant“

“Remember when you were a kid and your parents would take you to a candy store that had about 6000 options and then tell you that you could spend $5 dollars and then you’d go from excitement to standing there in overwhelmed decision paralysis for what seemed like hours? Yep, Jack Rose is that memory revisited and relived. In the best possible way. An unreal selection of every possible mash bill, age statement, cask offering, series, one-off, and price point. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders and a warm atmosphere make for a great place to hang as long as your wallet and/or partner will let you. Save your allowance, then take it all and a spirit of adventure - as well as a fully charged phone for your obsessive scrolling through the 70+ page menu - to this whisk(e)y nirvana.“

“Thrilled to have found this place while attending a training conference nearby. I am not ashamed to say I came here for lunch every day of the week The good: the atmosphere is as good as it gets for a pub. Quiet lunch stop, Friendly staff a traditional pub menu great whiskey selection and a gorgeous mirror backed ornate wood bar display. I swapped between both the Reuben and fish sandwich all week and highly recommend either. The bad: My major complaint is that this place is too far from my house but it may be good enough that I start looking for new apartments in the area. This is what it is to the maximum degree if you are in the mood for an Irish pub I don't think you can do better.“

“The Bulgogi, spicy pork, al pastor and carne asada tacos were the best. The chorizo tacos were good, and so were the Gal bee. The carnitas and pork belly lacked flavor but the meat was cooked well. The complimentary chips and salsa was really good! The music was interesting. It was a mix of some slow covered R&B and some modern Mexican music. They kept switching the songs, which was kinda odd. Decent server, not above and beyond but not below average. I’d recommend this place to my friends.“

“While exploring the area, I decided to satisfy my craving for sushi and discovered Kusshi, a restaurant highly praised for its quality.Despite Pike & Rose being renowned for upscale dining experiences, I was surprised when I stepped into Kusshi and found it cramped and crowded, with an unconventional layout inside. The contrast between the inviting exterior and the somewhat chaotic interior was unexpected, reminding me not to judge a restaurant solely by its appearance. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the efficient and speedy service.Although my sushi was slightly flattened by the time I reached home, it still delivered on taste, and my dining experience was enjoyable overall.Parking: With where the restaurant is nestled you’ll have to pay for parking.“

“I like that the menu rotates, this keeps things fun and fresh. The venue itself is pretty small, but cozy. The restaurant has a high class atmosphere with big plates, small serving sizes, and artful topping displays. The drinks took a while to come out, but the food arrived quickly, especially given the size of our party. I enjoyed the Cosmo and Wanda cocktail. The thyme syrup is a unique addition. My scallops and halibut were both cooked perfectly! They did a better job than many seafood restaurants in this respect. The sunchoke basil puree was delicious on the scallops, they were some of the best that I've ever had. But the fish needed to be seasoned, it was too bland. I saw other reviews mentioning delicious bread. We were not offered any, but this would have helped add to the meal. Bread or more substantial sides (instead of the toppings) are definitely needed, since the portions are on the smaller side. The carrot cake was pretty sweet, but a good way to end the meal. I loved the citrus crumble and the frosting. Next time I want to try one of the more exotic menu items.“

“Stopped by for a nightcap and was happy with the service and variety of spirits. The Whiskey list was impressive and as I was looking for a Smokey and peaty whiskey, the recommendation of a Lagavulin 11 was prefect. The Whistle Pig Old Fashioned was very tasty as well.“
