She didn’t just hand us coffee, she handed us life. Welcoming, radiant, serving espresso with a side of “you belong here.” The vibe? Rustic chic with just enough caffeine to make you feel like you could hike the Appalachian Trail in heels. 10/10, will be back the next time our souls (and taste buds) need reviving. 💅☕✨”

“Visited Jane's Country Cafe this past weekend after a long drive from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Friendly, fast service with a smile. We had an excellent meal and experienced authentic country food for the first time. Try the fried okra and collards. Wonderful experience!”

“This was our first time to Chateau Morrisette. Our waiter was very attentive and funny. He helped us decide on our meal and the wine we tried. It was all very wonderful. I have to say, originally we were to be seated in a small hallway type room but it was rather chilly, and he asked if wed rather go to the room with a fire. Which I preferred, he did warn us the room with the fire was a little noisy. He wasn't kidding either. There was a family with small children that were allowing there kids to run back and forth. There was a group of 3 women who had probably had too much wine to drink and they were extremely loud. All that to say, he was correct it was noisy. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our appetizer, meal and dessert. And we, though it was loud, had a great time. Our waiter was super funny and very helpful. We would love to come back when it isn't raining and enjoy the outdoor tables as we were originally supposed to have.”

“The place was great, roadside diner, offering real Greek Gyros. My wife had to go. The Gyro platter she had was excellent with plenty left to take home. I had a Philly Cheessteak and it was perfect. The fries were crisp and salted just right. Mo said hers was the best Gyro she had since she left Illinois. She always saying the food is better up there but everything else is better down here.”

My wife and I done here, typically, once a month, and each visit is more enjoyable than the previous. The food has always been exceptionally good and our servers have been wonderful. “The food here is outstanding!!!! Of all the Chinese places “local” to our home in Lawsonville (Pilot Mtn., King, Madison, Mt. Airy) Shun Xing is the very best! The meat is always fresh & tender. The veggies are super fresh and delicious.
