“I have nothing but good things to say about this gem of a restaurant. The butternut squash soup was outstanding. So full of flavor. It was obvious that the chef put his heart into it. My husband and I each had the hamburger with hand-cut fries. The burgers were so yummy and cooked to perfection and the fries were scrumptious beyond words. You can tell that they use the freshest ingredients. The wait staff were warm, friendly, and delightful. They made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We had been here once before and it was just as wonderful, so they are consistent in serving quality and delicious food. Love this place and cannot wait to go back!”

“My husband and I have attended their suppers twice this year. Once at Valentine's Day and once in May. Both times, the food was stellar. The service was even better. For one price, you get your choice of appetizer, main course (with sides), and dessert. You can have assorted beverages, beer, wine, tea, coffee, sodas for an extra fee. I highly recommend this to anyone who lives near Stuart, Virginia. The care they put into this event makes it a special treat.”

“Always is great food. However, the employee misunderstood what all I wanted on my sub. It was so loaded with so much I couldn't hardly open my mouth wide enough to eat. HE should have been paying attention more. It was busy. It was after church.”

“I got my mom salt and pepper catfish yesterday with baked potato. My mama said it was the best catfish she’d ever had. Large portions. The baked potato was hot and she said was so delicious. Thank you as she ate this remembering my daddy who has been gone 5 years today. This was his favorite. And the girls at the drive thru are A+”

“Kindness & Goodness found here! Beautifully quaint shop just off the parkway. The perfect stop on a drive from Galax to Martinsville too early in the morning. I enjoy an iced latte of some sweetness & a homemade treat. I adore that everything food and beverage is homemade!”

“Its a hole in the wall,in the middle of no where and we love it. The service is fantastic, food is good. My hubby says it has the best French toast in the state.”

“Live nearby, ate there several times , and always been good , and convenient . Good meatloaf . Hope they survive here, as not much traffic , and hard to even know they are there, in old school. Need a better signage , so non locals see it .”
