My wife and I visit Middleburg, VA once a year for rest and relaxation. We have been coming to the Salamander restaurant every year also. We look forward to the excellent quality food and home type atmosphere. This past May, we were there for lunch and the manager Jack came over to check on us. He was so friendly and we had a great conversation. We bragged to Jack on the great thing the Salamander has going and how much we appreciate the great and kind staff. Great local spot in downtown Middleburg with sandwiches, drinks, coffee and fresh pastries. We enjoyed the BLT wrap and the Crab Cake sandwich, all was delicious. Also would recommend their Korean sliders, not too spicy but the sauce is smokey and has some heat. The restaurant is very beautifully decorated to look like a cafe in Europe.
