Fabulous large portions of fish (Pollack) and tender Liver & Onions dinners served with a friendly smile by the new 80 year old owner herself, Katherine, who said she used to work for “Kathy” before Kathy sold Katherine the business. Just connect the dots, folks, and you’ll get who’s who eventually. Don’t leave Shen Valley if you are looking for a clean place with good ole fashioned home cooking’ and friendly Southern hospitality?“

I wish I could remember our waitress name, but I can't. she was the best waitress any of us have had in a long time. It was July 4, and they were closing at 2, we came in at 1:22. We offered to leave, but she was so amazing about it, told us to stay so we did, and we are so glad we did. Thank you for the amazing service and amazing food! “My wife and I cane here last night for dinner. Nice place, conveniently located, and the employees were nice. We tried their Peanut Soup, you.will to try it to find out if you love it or it may not be for you - the best way to put! Their fried chicken was cooked juicey and had amazing crispy; however, it needed flavor or some seasoning. The hamburger steak was dry and had no flavor, but their hush puppies were awesome! The fries were good! I tried the peanut butter meringue, the meringue was very sweet, but the peanut butter part was good!“
