“As a server since 2021 (4yrs) I will be returning. The cusine, service, presentation, atmosphere was incredible & phenomenal. My server was, Corey. Very attentive, personable, knowledgeable, meticulous. I drove to Newport News from Charlottesville Va. approximately over 2hrs, for a late birthday dinner ( he acknowledged the special occasion and even brought me a free dessert on the house ) The food for my table was coursed beautifully, silverware was removed and preset for all of my next course, I never had to ask for refills, empty glassware was removed from the table, before receiving my next cocktail. The only complaint I had was the blue claw salad (very odd to me) Perception is half of reality, and judging by service, I will be returning, and recommending this to all of my friends. Thanks Cory!!!!! I'll specifically request you when I return“

“Since I moved to Virginia back in 2019, this has been a staple meal for my family and I. Service is quick, food is always scalding hot because they just made it, and prices are more than fair for the amount of food you get. The bulgogi cheesesteak, the double cheeseburger, and the wings are all fantastic. Do yourself a favor and give this place a chance if you haven’t already; you’ll be thankful you did.“

“Had a great wine tasting experience here today! Brandon, the owner, was so much fun, and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. It was interesting learning about how these wines are made since they are different from your typical winery. Everything was so good that it was hard to pick just a few to purchase at the end. Don’t be hesitant to try them if you are a dry wine fan - I usually drink dry wines because I find most sweet wines too syrupy sweet, but these were delightfully fruit forward and sweet from the infused fruits. You can’t find something like this in the grocery store. I’ll definitely be back to purchase more!“

“We ate there April 4th 2025 and the food was amazing! I had the Cowboy BBQ Brisket Sandwich it was super tender and juicy and falling apart. My husband had the Cheesiest Burger, which as the name suggests is quite cheesy. Battered fried were crispy and flavorful. However the Mac and cheese did not live up to my husbands standards. I would still definitely recommend this place. It was absolutely delicious!!!“

“I came to Baked today on a friend’s recommendation and I am already hooked. I eat a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches and theirs is the BEST! They chop up the bacon and it was cooked perfectly. The staff is very friendly as well. This is not just a pizza place, they have breakfast, sandwiches, ice cream, a big wine bottle selection, full bar, gaming play area and cozy corner. It has it all!! I will be back to work from here and enjoy all they have to offer.“

“I mainly come out here for live music and the weekly open mics. I don’t drink so I have no need to sit at the bar. However, I will say that the server with the black hair is one of the most unpleasant individuals I’ve ever encountered. She’s always working on Thursdays (open mic nights). You would think that I rejected her back in high school or something. I try to get along with everyone but sometimes some people really just suck. Other than that, I love the place.“

“James's knowledge was encyclopedic. It was like having the chef and sommelier at the table.
The food was excellent all around. We had:
- shrimp risotto with olives and calabrian peppers
- bao buns
- fois gras
- halibut croquettes
- cheesecake
The food was a+. No notes. No complaints. Will return when back in the area.“
