Back Bay Bistro Reviews
I had one of the worst airport dining experiences I’ve ever had at Back Bay Bistro. The food was extremely disappointing. The fries were burnt, the hot wings were dry, and the margaritas were poorly made. Nothing we ordered met even basic expectations.
Unfortunately, the service was even worse than the food. The employee assisting customers was loud, dismissive, and unfriendly throughout our visit. He was aggressively yelling across the restaurant, creating an uncomfortable...read full review
Ceasar grilled chicken salad was very good. Qr code scan to order kept crashing. Had to order from Alicia, who was great. Overall better than the negative reviews. I'll go back next in Norfolk Airport

The Back Bay Bistro offers a pleasant dining experience with good food and service. Customers have enjoyed dishes such as the shrimp po' boy sandwich, flatbread pizza, bacon cheeseburger, and pepperoni pizza, which were described as tasty. The restaurant's atmosphere is relaxed, with good music creating a positive vibe. While the water price of $6 in a tin bottle was noted, overall, the Back Bay Bistro is a reliable choice for a meal before a flight or a chance to unwind.
The chicken quesadilla is a popular menu item, though some customers have experienced long wait times of around 40 minutes for their food. The seating arrangement can be cramped, with tables placed close together. While the service can be mixed, with some waiters appearing less friendly, they have generally been responsive to customer requests.
Ordering through a digital platform has been a mixed experience, with some customers reporting issues with the QR code scan and long wait times for their orders. In one case, a customer found mold on the bottom bun of their burger, though the staff promptly replaced it. However, no compensation was offered.
Despite these occasional challenges, the Back Bay Bistro remains a go-to option for travelers seeking a meal in the terminal, though customers are advised to check their food carefully and be prepared for potential delays.
