“As my friends and family know, I owned a pizza place in a past life that had some pretty great reviews. I’m not a review guy typically, but this pizza was one of the best, if not the best, I’ve EVER had anywhere. 17/10 would recommend and will eat again.“

“Norfolk Botanical Gardens is always a yes. I finally had the pleasure of visiting the Holiday Lights Display. The trail is walkable for all age groups and abilities. (There are benches to sit on all along the way). I highly recommend it, for a memorable experience. 💚🥰🎄☃️“

“Omg where do I start!!! Me and my wife came Friday the 16th!! We didn’t have a reservation and I promise you I suggest making one especially on I house guess the weekend. We decided to sit at the bar instead of a window seat I also let the host know if someone cancels or if a Hi top come available please let us know. After 2 cocktails in which was amazing we got lucky got a seat! All you could see was the kitchen door flying open lol as the waitresses was bringing dishes I mean we only do fine dining when we eat out but I honestly wasn’t expecting something at this caliber seriously, you know we eat alot of places and sometimes the food just doesn’t be seasoned the way you expected especially if its plated nicely. Because it’s true we eat with our eyes first! But let me tell you!!! Goddd KISS THE CHEF!! The Owner, Owners whoever lol because every aspect was on point from service to atmosphere it really was unbelievable! I felt like I was in a major city!! Miami especially because I’ve had the oxtail lasagna there so I advised my wife to get that and I got the 37oz Tomahawk for 2 top with crab meat lol I love a good steak seriously. We didn’t get any appetizers because I wanted to save my appetite and my mental was in my pocket lol if you know what I mean but a $100 for a tomahawk with roasted potatoes it was no way I wasn’t gonna have that for dinner and some left for breakfast with cheese eggs in the morning lol Now when my steak came out! I ordered medium in which I expected to see pink because medium requires pink and who orders a well done steak anyway??? I mean it was cooked and seasoned to perfection with roasted potatoes and onions OMG I’M GOING BACK THERE!! Soon!! I taste my wife oxtail lasagna because she just kept saying how much better it tasted here lol so I did and she wasn’t exaggerating I mean the pasta sauce was sweet with garlic Omg how did they make a sauce that good and it had tomato chunks in it not the big crazy chunks but just perfect everything was PERFECT THIS PLACE DESERVES A MICHELIN⭐️ if thats possible in this area Ive ate in numerous countries because of my military background but this place is one for the books!!“

The lady behind the register that it is her favorite smoothie because you can not go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate. She was so right because it was very good. “This place is fairly new, located in the heart of Ocean View. It can easily be accessed by bike, walk, or by driving. The staff is super nice and welcoming. The pizza is delicious! We ordered a large pepperoni abd cheese and had only a few slices left. You will not be disappointed.“

“The best Thai food in the Virginia Beach area. They have too many locations. The owner runs a business with over 15 years of experience. It’s very authentic Thai food. They have one at Red Mill ( Va beach) and Norfolk. I love all food. Please try it out you will love it. Only one place has authentic Thai food.“

“Wow I was sitting here in Ghana Africa and a thaught came to me. I asked my wife what was the name of that sub place we use to always order from when I was stationed in Norfolk. I was stationed at NOB on the USS Iwo Jima in 1992 until decommissioned in 1993 then to the USS WASP 93 to 96. We used to always order from Cals Pizza and subs. I used to get the cheese steak sub and suicide wings. This place was the best. Good to see they are still in business serving Virginia and the Navy. It brings back good memories for me as a young kid in the Navy.“

“I was greeted warmly and seated immediately. Julia S. Was my server and she was lovely. The restaurant was clean. My cheeseburger and onion rings were delicious. My only complaint is if I’m asked how I want my burger cooked, it needs to be thick enough to actually cook it to the desired temperature. The burger was super thin so there is no way to cook it medium. However, it was tasty. The salad bar looked amazing so I’ll be back.“

“This location can get super busy (well, all of them can, but when the outlets are busy this location is slammed!) but the drive-thru still moves at a great pace. Food quality is always great and staff is almost always super friendly with the occasional maybe someone is having an off day. Ordering in the app is easy and I love that the staff confirms your mobile order and you can add or change anything when you get there. Our orders are almost always accurate with only very few times that items have been missing but the staff is quick to help us out (we have large orders for our office sometimes so missing one item out of 15 is understandable).“

“Went here Wednesday around 5 PM after doing some grocery shopping nearby. No customers inside, so was immediately able to order. This was my first time trying iron grill, so I was excited to see what it was all about.

I decided to try the steak and chicken hibachi (8.5/10) I think it was pretty tasty and flavorful, only thing was I felt like the portion of meats could’ve been a little more compared to the large portion of rice and they loaded the vegetable portion with a bunch of onions; whereas, I would’ve liked more zucchini. I also tried the iron grill roll (9/10) I thought it was very good and would get it again.

Didn’t have too long of a wait for the food and you could see while waiting that your order was being freshly made and prepared, so that was a plus. I’ll totally be back again to try more of their rolls and other hibachi combos. They also have teriyaki combos so I would like to see what the difference is regarding flavors.
