“This was my 1st time eating here and let me tell you after looking at those mouth watering photos I just had to try it, let's just say they have a new customer on there roster. The smell of good food hit me in the face as soon as I walked in. The smothered Liver & Onions over rice, a side of mac & cheese and collard greens definitely hit the spot but I didn't stop there you know ya boy had to try the chicken wings. Definitely coming back!!!!!“

Recently, I was at work thinking about how I wanted some collatd greens, wondering where I could order some from. I googled and this spot popped up! I called , ordered & my son picked our food up. The call taker was so patient and professional. Items we've tried :mac n cheese, collars, yams, turkey chops, pork chops , dumpster fries ?& fried whiting ( the 3xs we 've ordered in 2 wks) Our food was sooo tasty that I tried calling back to see if they catered! ? “Wanted something different. I heard they have good crab cakes. Well, I thought I made the best crab cakes but there's remind me of Blue Channel crabs. The sandwich was?????????. Best I had in the 757. Almost 1/2 pound of crab with no fillers. The place is a little hard to find and something you would see on Diners Drive in and Dives. Large delicious portions, friendly folks. DELICIOUSLY AMAZING.“

“It's always a pleasure dealing with Chef Cee Cee Kirby. Today I ordered the steak egg and cheese bagel with a side of tater tots. I must say the food was so good. The steak was nicely seasoned and tender. The bagel was nice and soft. She cooked the tater tots as I requested. You will never be disappointed with her food. Wishing that I ordered 2 sandwiches instead of 1.“

“Searched for black owned businesses near my job last month, and found this place. First time visit today, for lunch. Got the Salisbury dinner with mac and yams. Came with rice and gravy, and cornbread. The ladies behind the counter were kind and courteous, clearly working hard. My order was ready in less than five minutes. The plate probably weighed a couple pounds. The Salisbury steak was THICCCC, very generous portion which I appreciated for the price. The gravy was perfectly thick and seasoned well. The cornbread is delicious.

Small notes: the Salisbury steak was slightly dry, but well cooked, and the gravy compensated for the moisture and added some more flavor. The mac and cheese was lacking a bit of flavor, but just add a lil bit of that brown gravy to it and thank me later. Yams aren't something I usually order, so I don't want to offer an uninformed assessment. The consistency was nice, good chunks of yam vs a mash, and the flavor is sweet with a hint of cinnamon. I enjoyed them.

Overall I really enjoyed this meal despite the food coma I am now in, and I will definitely be back again!“
