The food here is always great, and the people are nice. I'd venture to say it's certainly one of best soul food places in the area.Parking: It's in a shopping center with plenty of parking.
1st time eating here tonight and what a pleasant surprise. The cashier was really personable and nice. I was in and out in about 10 minutes and part of that was getting through the line. Food was really good. My wife loved the yams. I'm a big guy and was barely able to finish the whole meal. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

I visited Thee Soulfood Kitchen for the first time this evening with my boyfriend. We chose this restaurant because I’ve been craving fried catfish. We got a seafood platter with crab cakes, fried shrimp, catfish, Mac n cheese, and green beans. We also ordered the smothered chicken with green beans and rice with gravy.
