“Came across this gem on DoorDash and found the food exceptionally good! Tried the birria quesadillas and yucca fries, both of which are super flavorful and yummy. Second time around, ordered for the fam, and got the steak tacos and carnitas tacos (and birria quesadilla again) and guac and everything was delicious. The sides of pickled onions and the salsas are incredibly flavorful, and the guac is FRESH and tasty. Love that they use fresh cilantro on everything, and the corn tortillas taste homemade. Tried the flan and that was the only let down. This place is fantastic!“

I ordered the El Mayimbe Plantain sandwich and it was my favorite, the flavor was immaculate! My boyfriend's sandwich (El Tumbao) was also good. “Wow! The Chef's Table dinner we had at Bar West exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere. We had a cozy spot by the fireplace to start out our night with drinks. Highly recommend the espresso martinis. They also have a nice wine selection. The rockfish and short rib ravioli were delicious and plated beautifully. The blackberry cheesecake was the perfect ending to our meal. This is not typical "bar food" at all. Great place for a special dinner or drinks after work. They are also open for lunch. We will be back !“

The yucca was fried softer than my preference and the chicharrón was fried harder but I still liked them. I'm glad to have stumbled across this gem.Note: Unless you're going eastbound on Broad Street, pulling into the restaurant takes you on some side streets but it's worth it.
