I ordered a mint and Turkish coffee to start with the intention of ordering lamb. When the sheep came, I was surprised in an interesting way by the presentation of the dish. The sheep is butter, soft, and cooked in the literal sense and looks exactly the same as it did in the menu, bones and all.“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“This is a to-go Indian chaat spot located inside a gas station. Here’s how it works: you place your order at the cashier, and they bring the food out to you. There’s also a small corner with a few chairs if you want to eat quickly and head out.

We ordered the samosa wrap, which this place is known for - and it was delicious. The filling includes chana and rice by default, along with whatever other toppings you choose, making it quite hearty and satisfying.

We also tried the dahi puri chaat, which was very good. My husband and I shared both dishes and were completely full by the end. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

“This place is pretty innocuous but when I saw 1-10$ and 4.8 stars I had to drop by. The food is very good, especially for the prices. I got a steak and cheese and fries and it was tasty, but i also got mozzarella sticks. Maybe i am biased from the city selling a worse product for several times more but serious 6 mozzies for 3.50 theyre medium sized, crunchy, hot, and the sauce is really good. This is one of the rare times I find sometbing that is obnoxiously well priced and its a shame i live 20min away and cant come here as often as Id like. Please go here. Please try the mozzies. “Oh my gosh! I love this place! We were visiting from Texas and this was our everyday morning stop (and it may or may not have been an evening snack or two also ). All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. “After visiting several bike shops in the Loudoun/Fairfax Co area, The Bike Lane Reston provided the best vibe and customer experience, hands down. Adam Reel and Ben (I think I was Ben's first customer on his first day on the job!) were fantastic - they took time on a typically busy but rainy Sunday to patiently educate me on different types of bikes, sizing/fitting, and getting me on the RIGHT bike with NO pressure or up-sell. In the end, I fell in love with and purchased the Trek Checkpoint ALR 4 in Lavender Haze, kitted out for touring. Adam worked diligently in arriving at a very fair price and was also gracious in sharing his considerable knowledge, experience and advice for riding the type of trails that I aspire toward, such as the C&O/GAP. Of note, another Trek dealership closer to home offered to match the price for the same bike, but the stellar service I received from Adam won me over. Well done to Adam and Ben and the entire Bike Lane team!
UPDATE: 8/04/25: Just returned from the C&O Canal trail. The bike totally crushed the ride - even the hilly gravel between Purcellville and Brunswick. So pleased with this purchase!“

Staff was very nice - I put on my instructions whilst using the online kiosk to remove any almond products - just in case since I know a lot of granola is made with almond - I have an almond allergy. The kind lady behind the register saw my request and asked me if I'd perfer to switch to a gluten free granola because their regular granola did contain almond.
I was very happy with how kind she was with the switch because of the almond.

Also I might be biased because I LOVE açaí bowls but the bowl I got was absolutely delicious!

I had a Reuben, and my wife had chicken salad on a sub roll with lettuce and onion. Most patrons seemed happy and familiar, likely coming from the surrounding offices. The owners welcomed and checked on us, a nice touch. My sandwich was larger than expected, and hers was too. She would've liked a little salt and tarragon, but didn't ask for either. No complaints.“

Vegetarian options: Most of the menu has a vegetarian symbol next to them. Likely because most are egg and cheese based. But still seems like a safe option.

Parking: It's in an Dr/office building. Parking doesn't belong to the cafe but there are plenty of options and it's easy to navigate to the cafe from inside or out.“

The breakfast bagels were really good, they had some spices or herbs with the egg or something that gave it a nice je ne sais quoi. It was kind of sweet but a really unique egg bagel sandwich.
We went on a weekend morning and it was hopping! There was just enough seating to fit everyone in there, but I could see it getting tight if it was any busier.

“I got delivery service. The food arrived in a container that doesn’t fit the bag, so the lid fell off and food spilled into the bag. The bag was sealed so nothing lost but kind of a mess. Also, the serving of dressing was not enough to make everything moist, so that’s something to keep in mind if you get delivery.
