“😻 "Paw-don" me, but might I "purr-suade" you to check out my new favorite pizza joint in Occoquan? Cat puns are totally intended. Like pizza? Love cats? Well, you're gunna looooove Graffiti Cat Pizza! Here's my review of the place. 📍 Located as a pop-up shop inside Potomac Chocolate, your taste buds are in for a "purr-fect" treat with their pizza options and sourdough crusts. They are open Friday afternoons and all day "Caturday", I mean, Saturdays! You can find their calendar on their website to make sure they are open when you plan to go. 🍕 We went there and played it safe with a traditional cheese pizza (which was pipin' hot and made-to-order) and finished it off with some chocolate chip gelato that even my teenage son (who only grunts at me) said, and I quote, "Wow, this is good". (haven't heard that many words from him all year combined)! 🪑 They do have out-door seating with a picnic table on their front porch, as well as two very comfy rocking chairs and a small table which we were able to snag. They also have a bench down by the walkway and tables and chairs along the side of the building by the cat. It's not wheelchair accessible so those with strollers or the like might need some help getting into the building. 💲 The cheese pizza ran us $13 and is a perfect size for 1 person or two if you aren't super hungry. The small gelato was $6 and the cans of coke (I'll be honest, I can't remember the price) but I was grateful for the option to order. 🚘 Parking is street parking and it's pretty easy to find a spot. If you don't like to be on the street, there is a parking lot under the bridge with plenty of parking and a short walk to main street. No need to bring change as parking is free- just double check the signs before you park so you don't get a ticket. Now, wait a "meow-ment". You might be "purr-plexed" as to where the name, Graffiti Cat, came from and let me tell ya, it comes from the actual graffiti on the side of the adjacent building done by *maybe* Banksy (you can find the Instagram account dedicated to the graffiti here: @ocqgraffiticat).“

“Review is for the new PUPATELLA off Slater's Lane in Alexandria VA. It's in my neighborhood so we walked. Noticed limited # spot parking lot, minimal if any street parking. Went on opening day around 1145 am; got seated right away but servers were largely absent throughout stay. Took ~10 min for someone to show up to take our drink order and food order. Seasonal specials on the menu but not actually available to order yet. Went with soft drinks, margarita pizza, and brussels sprouts app. Food was fabulous and served quickly. No server appeared to check on us or to refill drinks; I believe the marketing manager ended up checking on us and helped out. Also no server to bring bill so we closed the tab at their point of sale system. Decor is plain; hopefully they will add some art to the walls at some point. Two unisex bathrooms were clean. Very narrow pathway to get to them past the indoor seating and the bar seating. Large folks and wheelchairs will struggle to navigate to the bathrooms. The usable space inside the narrow building is limited so not sure if this is a fixable issue. Patio seating is a mix of low tables and high tables/chairs, assortment of non-adjustable small umbrellas to block sun, looked like they could be moved around. Clearly dog-friendly, I saw at least three water bowls in use or available to use. Saw a lot of vehicle traffic on Slater's, but did not hear the traffic on Slater's or the GW parkway. Most tables inside and out were occupied; the music over the speakers and the ambient patron noise was loud enough to drown out traffic. There is an access road and line of trees between the restaurant and GW parkway which helps to minimize the traffic view. Food was worth another visit, though you should give them time to upskill their servers and perhaps hire more servers. Given the parking issue and the limited seating inside and out, I suspect this location is more suited for walking locals and carry-out than travelling diners. This location isn't really suited to be a destination dining experience.“

“I’ve ordered by calling, online, delivery and it never misses! I love their Philly chz steak sub with honey mustard and my bf and I get the XL Mighty meat pizza. THAT one I must say is super super delicious. Every time it’s warm and super cheesy. It’s just perfect.

“We absolutely loved this place! This was our first time visiting with our kids, and we had such a wonderful experience.

A special thank you to KK for her amazing service. She went above and beyond, and she even encouraged my son to eat broccoli for the first time! He’s a very picky eater, so that was a huge win for us. Her kindness and patience made our visit extra special.

The food was delicious, arrived quickly, and the restaurant was clean with a great atmosphere. We especially loved the deep-dish pizza!

“I’ve been coming here for years and always had a great experience. They serve some of the best Italian dishes in all on Northern VA. The place is really clean and the staff are very friendly. It seems to be a favorite spot for locals with a very family friendly vibe. I really like their fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the Pollo Bryan. The calamari here is excellent at well. On Monday nights, they have a large 3 topping pizza for only $11.99 which is an amazing deal for a high quality brick oven pizza. They also have prime rib on Wednesday nights which I love to get too. Whenever I meet up with friends at Giradinos, they all say that the food is great too. I need to try some more of their entrees but it’s hard to when I really love getting what I’m used to. Highly recommend this place if you love Italian dishes, brick oven pizza and some good wine.“

Everything that my family has tried is amazing. we found the resteraunt about 2 years ago, every since this is the only place we get food from when we order out. Mr. Sam's resteraunt prime pizza and grill has become a house hold name for us and brings us together whether over a delicious meal or phone calls to tell what we tried today. “Jet's Pizza is truly on a whole different level, especially if you have never experienced it before. While there are only a few locations within the DMV region, their pizza is incredibly delicious. I originally fell in love with their food at the Arlington, Virginia location, but the spot here in Lake Ridge is just as spectacular. If you have never tried Jet’s Pizza, you absolutely need to order their pizza and wings!“

“This place was a quick find for our first American restaurant experience in the States after being away for four years.

Here’s my take on this restaurant from a European perspective. The portions are huge and the menu is plentiful. The service was amazing and prompt. Our waitress Pía was exceptionally personable and helpful. On weekends they serve brunch, which was lovely. The waffles and syrup in the chicken and waffles complemented one another perfectly. However, the chicken was less than tasty. It lacked flavor that even the syrup couldn’t supplement. The dinning area is huge and has an inviting feel.

Overall, the meal was good but lacked in some areas. The price for lunch/brunch floored me: $114 for a family of four! That’s a little too steep for this dad. Nevertheless, the experience was fun and the dinning was great for our first meal back.“

“This is a traditional wood fired neapolitan style pizzaria. Excellent service and many choices on the menu. Very reminiscent of Milan. They even had Peroni on tap. Exported, but Peroni, none the less. Everything was hand made. Dough is hand tossed, so the kids enjoyed the show. We chose to eat in, but seems like most folks carry out. Good ingredients and a nice atmosphere. It's a great little find. Highly recommended.“
