“Review is for the new PUPATELLA off Slater's Lane in Alexandria VA. It's in my neighborhood so we walked. Noticed limited # spot parking lot, minimal if any street parking. Went on opening day around 1145 am; got seated right away but servers were largely absent throughout stay. Took ~10 min for someone to show up to take our drink order and food order. Seasonal specials on the menu but not actually available to order yet. Went with soft drinks, margarita pizza, and brussels sprouts app. Food was fabulous and served quickly. No server appeared to check on us or to refill drinks; I believe the marketing manager ended up checking on us and helped out. Also no server to bring bill so we closed the tab at their point of sale system. Decor is plain; hopefully they will add some art to the walls at some point. Two unisex bathrooms were clean. Very narrow pathway to get to them past the indoor seating and the bar seating. Large folks and wheelchairs will struggle to navigate to the bathrooms. The usable space inside the narrow building is limited so not sure if this is a fixable issue. Patio seating is a mix of low tables and high tables/chairs, assortment of non-adjustable small umbrellas to block sun, looked like they could be moved around. Clearly dog-friendly, I saw at least three water bowls in use or available to use. Saw a lot of vehicle traffic on Slater's, but did not hear the traffic on Slater's or the GW parkway. Most tables inside and out were occupied; the music over the speakers and the ambient patron noise was loud enough to drown out traffic. There is an access road and line of trees between the restaurant and GW parkway which helps to minimize the traffic view. Food was worth another visit, though you should give them time to upskill their servers and perhaps hire more servers. Given the parking issue and the limited seating inside and out, I suspect this location is more suited for walking locals and carry-out than travelling diners. This location isn't really suited to be a destination dining experience.“

“This rating was given for the simple fact that Oscar welcomed me into the restaurant with an amazing attitude beautiful smile and positive spirit, not only did he deliver an excellent experience but he made my food up to expectation tasted delicious and cooked to perfection, I will be coming back!!!“

“Incredible. Delicious. Wow.
One must eat their slice on site. I took the create 8 slices which was great. BUT the slice I ate there was beyond spectacular. The crispy delicate crust was lost at home compared to my experience at Andy's. Reheating pizza is an art, but there as something special at the restaurant. My first experience with Andy's but I already have favorites:
#1 - pepperoni
#2+ - mushroom & onion and the white.
I also purchased the Albe Barolo 2022 and enjoyed at home. Very berry, light, and did not disappoint. Paired well with the pizza!

“Great pizza and highly recommend!! The sampler gave us a great taste of their wide variety of appetizers. I really enjoyed the zucchini fries and the contrast of the crunch of the breading and the natural sweetness of the zucchini. The arancini had great texture and the rice acted as a nice outer layer and provided great crunch. The eggplant pizza was so good and the sweetness really elevated the taste and the texture was enjoyable. The sausage and onion combo and enjoyable and complemented each other nicely. The dessert sampler was nice and sweet and the nutella sauce added great flavor and cut the sweetness and the cannoli texture added nice variety to the meal.“

“Some of the most delicious burgers I've ever had! I absolutely love burgers and always on the hunt for a huge, juicy, flavor packed, stacked high burger and this place is amazing. The burgers are super loaded with the meats, cheeses, sauces, and the buns are super soft. Trust me when I tell you these burgers are huge. The cook definitely knows how to churn out delicious burgers. Probably my new favorite burger spot in town. Thank you for such great food! Will be back next week :)“
