The barbecue and onion rings were quite tasty. It is some of the best barbecue in Virginia. I shall return and I will try the sliced beef next time. I want to try it all at Kimgs.Those onion rings are something special. The King Sauce was great also. I recommend you give this restaurant a try for a relaxed dining experience.
Waited a long time to get back to King's BBQ. Took my 98 year old English Teacher there for her birthday. We were all disappointed with the sauce, just not quite what it was. Onion rings were also a disappointment. Cut too thick and several were the outer skins. BBQ portion was good. Taste was slightly Hickory flavored. We know having a new pit is likely the culprit on the meat, so over time we expect that to improve. But the sauce is more sour than the classic sweet and...
