The special was Fried Buttermilk Chicken. I had 4 pieces of chicken, so for the money, it was well worth it. It was really salty though! And that was kind of a turn off!The beef barbque sandwich for $10.95 was okay, seemed a little skimpy. I also bought a pound of beef barbque to go. It was really good and pretty much medium as ordered. There was a couple of nice slices on top and then underneath had some smaller pieces with fat and gristle included. I asked for cups for sauce,...
Very happy they reopened. It's like stepping back in time. Everything is clean and neat, but the decor is what I remember from ling ago, and that's fine with me.
The BBQ was delicious and the staff is very pleasant. Take home a bottle of their famous sauce too.

The barbecue and onion rings were quite tasty. It is some of the best barbecue in Virginia. I shall return and I will try the sliced beef next time. I want to try it all at Kimgs.Those onion rings are something special. The King Sauce was great also. I recommend you give this restaurant a try for a relaxed dining experience.
