A staple of my childhood, Moseberth's continues to be one of the best fried chicken restaurants in the area. The baked chicken is great as well. Home style southern fried chicken cooked perfectly every time.
Found this place a list of Drive-Ins, Diners, and Dives in Virginia. We were driving through on our way to the outer banks for some R&R. Friday evening and the place was packed and all but one man (older white dude, surprise surprise) had their masks on. The menu is small and simple. We ordered a chicken dinner (dark meat), a snack (white meat), a fish snack, and a side of baked beans. I think we spent $21 total! They only do take out and there was a line. We got the regular dinner, leg dinner, liver snack, and gizzard snack. Everything was delicious. Chicken were crispy on the outside and still juicy. I love the texture contrast of the liver snack, crispy outside and smooth pate inside. Gizzard snack was crispy outside and a satisfying crunch when chewing on it.
