“I normally take pictures. Everything was beautifully presented. This is seriously the best sushi place to go to. They are very personable, they typically provide extra little fruity drinks and salad and all kinds of stuff. You really feel like you're someone special every time you go here. Not to mention that they typically send us home with a gift card! Pretty much ensures that we're coming back even though we would have anyway. “Daikichi has been the most consistently excellent sushi spot for over 20 years. Hiro, the owner, personally selects and prepares fish daily. For an authentic and delicious experience you must go to Daikichi. My personal favorites are the spicy cucumber salad, calamari roll and Daikichi roll but dont take my word for it, 食う!!“

“I'm very picky about my sushi and not local so I've been searching for a spot that's good and this place hit the mark! I've tried multiple places in Norfolk and they disguise their mediocre sushi with a bunch of sauces and too much rice on top of being poorly rolled. Here, I got the Yummy roll and salmon avo roll. I got huge ratio of salmon and the rice was perfect. The sushi was also rolled perfectly and didn't fall apart when picking it up. Great service from one of the ladies as well. She saw me using my phone and got me a phone stand. Also got me a cup of ice for my bottled soda without asking. Inside is clean but nothing fancy. Definitely a spot for lunch. They have also expanded their sushi menu it seems.“

“Just ate here for the first time. The resurant was cozy and had a great ambiance. For 26 dollars you can get all you can eat sushi rolls, entrees, soups and more. Its less expensive for kids and lunch. The quality of sushi was great and there was a ton of variety. The server was attentive and quickly brought additional food for the all you can eat. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.“

“I had the Sushi Deluxe and I had the best sushi I’ve ever had. They make food in front of you and do cool tricks while you wait. The sushi doesn’t include that tho. But the staff was amazing and super kind. So I fully recommend this place without hesitation“

“Do not let the outside fool you, the sushi is on point. The chicken yakisoba was excellent as well. Between all of us, we had 5 different sushi rolls and all were excellent. The Manhattan was by far our favorite. This was the best sushi we've had anywhere in a long time.

Genuinely welcome vibe from the servers and staff.
Premium quality fish (sashimi cuts and hands rolls).
I went with Candy Cane roll, Hot Beach roll and red tuna sashimi. They were outstanding.
Restaurant has a lot of character on the inside and a very attentive staff.
It was a great experience all around.

“Ordered inside and ate inside, and it was a laid back and positive experience. Food was cooked quickly and with care. Everything tasted fresh and was priced fairly. Chicken and shrimp were both cooked perfectly and the flavor of the habachi was mild but tasty. The takoyaki was hot and flavorful and cooked traditionally. The dining room appeared fairly clean. We enjoyed the drink choices as well. It was our first time and we will be back. Thank you.“

However, what really surprised my wife and me was the price. This restaurant charged only $13.99 per person, whereas here in Hollywood, we're paying $49.99 per person. Love this place, and I'm taking my Hollywood money to Virginia.“
