Today I went to the Bangladesh Embassy, and after I finished my embassy work, I started searching for a good restaurant in that area. Luckily, GPS found the restaurant. We went with my wife and my son, and we ordered three dishes. First, we ordered two dishes. We tasted the first two dishes; they were very delicious. Then we ordered another one. “I've been going to the Silver Diner in Reston for over 15 years. Food is always good, new items added to menu seasonally, staff are real folks who are easy to talk with and joke with as well. The seating availability? That’s where the extra star gets lost.

Ashburn Pub has everything you want from a great neighborhood establishment: excellent food, fantastic drinks, genuinely friendly service, and prices that won’t leave you wondering whether you accidentally paid for the building.

Four stars from me—but if they ever add more seating or implement a reliable reservation system, this would easily be a five-star experience.

Until then, plan ahead and be prepared to compete with the rest of Ashburn for a table or a seat at the bar if you’re especially lucky that day.“

“For several years, the pizzas from Great Falls Deli Italiano were wonderful. Then the problems started - always something unsatisfactory with every order. And the pizza toppings were extremely skimpy. So we stopped ordering from them. Yesterday we decided to give them another try. Glad we did - the Quattro Formaggi pizza and the big steak sub were both delicious. Of course, based on previous experiences with skimpy toppings, I paid for extra amounts of each of the cheeses on the pizza. Do not know what it would be like without paying for extra amounts of toppings.“
