Hawk’s BBQ in Richmond is a must try. Funny thing is I haven't even tried the barbecue yet. So far, I’ve had their cheese steak, fish, and chicken and they were all delicious. Now, I am very much looking forward to trying the barbecue. Hats off to Hawks BBQ!
It's been YEARS since I've been and I can't for the life of me know why I stop but grateful to reconnect...I got three pieces whiting and fries and I love the grilled bread... Purchase sweet potato pie it was good...I thank everyone for their hard work and safe travels home...A staple of Richmond VA that is still being BLESS??????

Best BBQ sandwich I ever had. I moved here from Charlotte, NC. I know good BBQ I have been going to Hawks for the last 4 months. I have tried Southside, East end and Brook Rd. Brook Rd location had the best tasting of all three locations. I recently went to the Brook rd location on August 10th excepting good BBQ. When I got my sandwich I was better than good. This was the best tasting BBQ I ever had I don't know if they added more flavor or what but all I know is I went back...
