My friend and I went for lunch today at Lulabelles, the food was delicious. We had a $20 gift certificate to put towards a $36 bill and gave our server a $20 tip which seemed to be quite generous. Barely offend you that she whisked what was left on our table away, then returned a couple of minutes later to rather abruptly tell us that they had reservations coming in on the next half hour, the implication being that we had best get out of there. said you needed reservations, then said well maybe. then said you didn't need reservations. but there were tables that were empty. we left, not to return. this is 3rd time this has happened.
Great food and people and very commited to their community. They donated a few dozen boxed lunches to a youth development / mentoring non-profit and did an amazing job. Highly recommend both as a traditional cafe AND a catering option.
