That was damn delicious! The pound cake was moist and perfectly sweet. The macaroni and cheese-Chef’s Kiss. Yams-sweetened perfectly. I ordered the Government Combo (included six fried shrimp, four pieces of fish, and two while n wings) and added hush puppies. The hush puppies have to be my favorite part of the meal. Scrumptious!Parking: Good sized parking lot
I have been here a couple of times, Trey is always a pleasure when visiting. He talks to the customers and always have a smile on his face even when it is busy there. He is a great asset to the restaurant.

We brought our group of 20 yesterday, having called Helen to give them a heads up before we arrived. Our group was very pleased with their meals. I had shrimp which was breaded perfectly, not too heavy. The Shush puppies were very flavorful. The mac in cheese was yummy. And the collard greens were great. Plus a pleasant staff and very warm welcome. I would recommend Ms. Girlee's Kitchen when you are looking for some great southern comfort food.
