Robin Inn is just one block from my new house, but I never was tempted to give it a try, until one night last week when I was craving some comfort food. Although it is so close, I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread for delivery. The food arrived in 20 minutes, still hot from the stove. And it hit the spot. Took a group of my retired friends to Robin Inn after a trip to the VMFA. They were amazed at the quality of the food and low price. Several of our group got extra orders to-go to put in our freezers for another day. This is an old school neighborhood bar and restaurant. The wooden booths are great for chatting, eating and drinking with friends.
So glad we got a last meal in before they closed for good. Hopefully the new owner will bring some dishes to the new place with them and keep the atmosphere going. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
