I didn't think the hype was all it was cracked up to be. I got their version of a Cheesy Western Burger and to me, I've had better. And their chili wasn't as great as they chalked it up to be. But the people were really nice.
Fast and consistent service every time. The low prices can't be beat. Best hotdogs in town, and the cheesy western & bowl with is the best combo ever. A true Roanoke landmark.
Stopped in late night for a chili dog and Cheesy Western. It's a good local bite. I can see it would be good after being out at night with adult beverages.
The patty itself is on the small side and sandwich overall is on the simple side. The egg on it is a nice touch. Note that mustard bottles are there, all down the ten person counter, but not other condiments (which is fine).
