I was in Roanoke for a conference and was thrilled to stumble across ZeeZee's restaurant. His subs were unbelievably delicious and on par with some of the best vegan food I've had anywhere. We had the pizza "steak" sub and the buffalo "chicken" sub, and we were literally licking our fingers afterward. Wish list: Could you magically deliver to NYC?
Enjoyed the chicken parm-less, seasoned fries, and drink lunch special. Fries were a little salty but everything was good. I'm vegetarian, not vegan, but I didn't miss the cheese too much.
So happy to have a vegan place in Roanoke! The food is standard American sandwich grub (subs, salads, and sides), which is awesome bc it's what I miss most since being vegan. There's something about shoveling a meaty sandwich into your mouth that is just so comforting. I ordered delivery through ZeeZee's and was not disappointed. I will be a regular here.
