“On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.”

“Arilang has some of the freshest fish in the area served up some gorgeous plating. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, the staff are super friendly and attentive. I cannot recommend this place more. Also this was one of the few spots that served up hand rolls! We will surely be returning.”

“Wife wanted to slide by the ice cream place and then the Short Pump location here for dinner. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. I saw the “Red Beard’s Ghost” sauce and was contemplating it on some wings. The guy at the counter gave me a sample, and it was smooth with just a little heat. Flavorful. The ghost lured me in. I thought, no problem, I can handle this. I was wrong. So wrong. At home, I bit into a wing and suddenly I wasn’t in my kitchen anymore. I was on the deck of a pirate ship in the middle of a hurricane. My tongue was battling a flaming cutlass, my eyes were crying mutiny, and my soul was begging for mercy. Somewhere in the distance, I swear I heard a pirate laughing. This sauce didn’t just sneak up on me……it cannonballed into my mouth and raised its flag on my taste buds. Within minutes, I was sweating like I owed Red Beard back taxes in doubloons. 10/10 staff. 10/10 wings. 15/10 chance of seeing visions of pirate ghosts in your living room if you order this sauce. Would recommend… if you’re brave enough. So glad I had ranch to finish it all of… but now I’m scared of what will follow…dun dun duuun”

“Bartizan Events Venue was the perfect choice for my mother's 80th birthday party this weekend. The entire experience was outstanding, thanks to the venue's wonderful staff. From our very first meeting, they were professional, accommodating, and made the planning process a joy.

On the day of the event (August 9, 2025), the staff was incredibly attentive, and they went above and beyond to make the day magical for my mother. Guests were blown away by the food, and I've received countless compliments. One cousin even asked me if I thought she could get the recipe for the chicken!

The venue is conveniently located in Glen Allen with easy access to street parking and free public garages. I'm honestly a little sad the party is over because I loved working with Rachel and the team so much. I'm already looking for another excuse to host an event there. Bartizan is a definite five-star, full-service venue that I would recommend for any special occasion.”
