“We’ve been coming here for years, and it’s still one of our favorite local spots. The atmosphere is always inviting, the service was excellent as usual, and the menu continues to offer some creative and delicious options.
This visit was a bit of a mixed bag. The Crab Louie was outstanding, with generous chunks of crab and great flavor throughout. The cocktails were creative and enjoyable, although they seemed a bit weaker than we’ve experienced in the past.
My only real disappointment was the frites. They’re typically one of my favorite items on the menu, but this time they were overcooked, and for the price, I expected them to be much better.
Even with a few misses, we’ll absolutely be back. Consistently good restaurants are hard to find, and this remains one of our go to places in town.“

“My husband and I ate here for the first time today. As soon as we walked in, it felt very comfortable and relaxed. We ordered the nachos with taco meat for our appetizer. It was very good! Everything was fresh, especially the jalapeños. You could tell they were not pre-sliced food service jalapeños. My husband ordered the smash burger a n d I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was the first time ever he didnt have to tell the server to tell the cook to burn it just so he could get his burger well done. It was cooked perfectly. Let me say first, I am from the deep south (much further south than Virginia) and I am picky about my pulled pork. This pulled pork was perfect. The BBQ sauce has a nice, smokey hickory taste and the pork was not over cooked. The slaw had a very nice flavor that complimented the pork.It is the best pulled pork I have ever gotten that didnt come out of my own kitchen! To say we were very pleased would be an understatement. Thank you! We will be back!“

“We have not tried this place before because they went through a period of being open and closed, but this place is phenomenal. Hands down this is the best Mexican food in Roanoke. Everything was super fresh and delicious! Margarita on the rocks was outstanding also!“

“Love the Thursday boneless wing deal! Sometimes we get a great server who we love, or sometimes its someone who isn't great. The TV's werent all working this time so no NBA to watch this time. Overall, love Macado's, its the best“
