“Had an enjoyable evening out during a business dinner. Atmosphere was 5 star! Service was almost 5 star, however we did feel a bit rushed in getting our food order in before we were even served our cocktails. The food was very good and we will return on our next visit to Roanoke!“
“Every Wednesday Sidecar has a Neighborhood Night with a 3 Course Menu Special which they email you ahead of time in order for you to have time to make a reservation if you think you would enjoy the items mentioned. This Wednesday, the appetizer was Seared Sea Scallops, the main entrée was Beeler's Duroc Pork Chop, and for dessert Biscoff Ice-cream. I happen to like these three items so I decided to make a reservation and go try out this restaurant for the first time. I arrived at 5:00pm sharp to my reservation and was greeted by the friendly host with a welcome smile. I was impressed by the warm atmosphere of the place with lots of wood accents and hunter green painted wall lined up with booths on one side and a long bar with many stools on the other side. At front there are a couple of small rooms with a few tables as well. The host took me to one of the booths in the center of the restaurant and the waiter came by to introduce himself and bring a glass of cold water that had a wonderful taste. In water the more tasteless it is makes for the best taste. I told the waiter that I was going to have the Neighborhood Night Menu of the Day and I also ordered a few slices of a Baguette with butter to start with while I waited for the food to be ready. The Seared Sea Scallops appetizer arrived and was outstanding. The waiter came by my booth at the appropriate times to check on me and fill my glass of water with more cold water. The Pork Chop main course was a nice size and very tasty. I was very satisfied with the portion size and with the flavorful cuisine. After feeling full and very satisfied with the food. I asked for the dessert that was truly a sweet complement to complete this wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for when you want to have a nice gourmet dinner, alone or with family and friends.“
“Let me start by saying I'm really picky about what I eat , when I went in initially they selected the wrong cheese and when I informed them, they just responded to give them a few minutes and they went and made it correct. When I got home and open the food. It was fresh and it looked good The taste was the stellar for me. I had the Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious.The portion is more than worth your dime. “My husband and I ate dinner here on a Saturday night while on an out-of-state trip. It's one of the only restaurants in the area and definitely had others dining there, but it wasn't "busy"/no wait time to be seated. The atmosphere was very nice. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was very good, although the appetizers were overpriced. I got the white chicken chili, and my husband got the beef chili appetizer. Although the current menu online shows the chili at $5, it was $6-7 for a cup of it (each one) and came with a slice of cornbread. Both my husband and I were surprised when it came out because we both swore the menu said it came with cornbread and tortilla chips, but we didn't receive any tortilla chips (we did not ask about this). For meals, I got the BBQ chicken sandwich (without coleslaw) that came with chips, and my husband got the BBQ cheeseburger with pulled pork on it (also without coleslaw). He also upgraded to fries from chips. The meals were really good and came out promptly! I was still finishing my chili. My sandwich tasted great! The BBQ sauce was on the side, so I was able to add the amount of my liking to my sandwich. My husband's burger was the same with the sauce on the side, and he said it tasted very good! The fries also had great flavor (I tried some)! Additionally, my husband got a fruit beer which was tasty! I would recommend this place and return here if ever back in the area! Sometimes I get weird about restaurants out in the middle of nowhere that the service or food might be lacking, but people still go there just because it's all that's available, but that was not the case with this place!Parking: Gravel parking lot off the side of the road“
“We had the best date night here! A Sunday evening made for a small crowd and very quick service. Sarah was our incredible waiter and we enjoyed a sampling of appetizers and drinks. Definitely a restaurant for special occasions since it is pretty expensive but the atmosphere and menu offerings are very unique! Highly recommend :)“
“I love this place! I love the bartenders and their fun demeanor even on busy nights. The food is always tasty and fresh, a great mix of perfect deli and bar food just like you want on a night out! Also, my husband and I LOVE when they host karaoke nights! The DJ has an astounding selection of songs and is always amiable and will even duet if asked- he’s a great singer too!!
