First time at the Salem location. Attended a retirement seminar for a free (to me) meal. Service was so slow most of the 25 or so folks in attendance had finished their entrees before the sides arrived waited for an additional hour before deserts (packaged to go, no less) were brought to the table! Had I not been enjoying chatting with another guest I would have left long before it was brought out. Certainly would have been sorely disappointed (as well as inconvenienced) had I been picking up the check

I have to say, first time visiting the Salem Frankie’s. Natalie was absolutely stellar, she was extremely responsive and extremely attentive. The food was stellar, and the way it was plated was exceptional. I highly recommend this Frankie’s location, and make sure to ask for Natalie.

Good, drinks, service, and respectful ness is beyond this word . The steak with how it is cooked is brilliant!

Classic steakhouse atmosphere with excellent entrees and service. Our head waitress (Tracy) was very professional. There were plenty of waitstaff on our service team and they worked well together. My wife and mother-in-law both had the seafood special (sea bass in a delicate cognac sauce) while I enjoyed the 20 oz Ribeye. The sea bass was delicious and my steak was perfectly prepared. The ribeye marbling ran deep giving an extra burst of intense flavor with nearly every bite. The fat was not at all gristly-just melt in your mouth indulgence. Our table of 3 shared two generously portioned sides (brussel sprouts and asparagus). We could have easily shared one side and been satisfied. We skipped the appetizers, salads, and desserts - so can not comment on them other than to say that the selections were tempting. We visit Salem frequently to see family and are delighted to see such a quality restaurant thriving here. We will definitely visit again when we return.

Beautiful dining room and bar area. Excellent service matched only by their amazing cowboy ribeye steak and carrots with bacon jam. Excellent wine list and a great old fashioned. I will definitely return the next time I am in town.

Loved the atmosphere and probably one of the best service experiences we've had. But the food was very disappointing. My son's steak was so salty he literally couldn't eat it. Mine was similar but a much thicker cut so I just cut some of mine away. I ordered a medium but the center of my steak was extremely raw. My daughter did have the Chilean Sea Bass and it was outstanding causing us all to wish we'd ordered that! I would recommend but give friend's my caution.

The meal was delicious. My wife and I shared a mushroom and tasty crabcake appetizer, then I had a 7 oz steak and she had the fish special, and we shared a bananas Foster dessert. The steak was excellent, although very salty. Overall a very nice meal, but with a hefty price tag of almost $200 including tax and tip, without any drinks

This was our late Valentines Day celebration and it was excellent. As usual with Frankie Rowland's, all items were perfectly prepared. We started with the pan seared sea scallops in Parmesan crème sauce. These are absolutely amazing. They are so tender they very nearly melt in your mouth, and the sauce is out of this world. The filets were tender and perfectly seasoned with a delicious salt & pepper crust. They were perfectly cooked and the Weller CYPB was the perfect accompaniment. The split chicken breast with rosemary sauce was also amazingly tender and flavorful. The sides, masked potatoes and grilled asparagus were, as always, delicious. The Crème Brûlée was top-notch and a great final note. The service was excellent, a true dining experience. Make no mistake, this is not an inexpensive meal, but with outstanding service and food of this caliber, you truly do get what you pay for.

My wife and I had an amazing meal from A to Z. Natalie was a very professional server and an affable and likeable person. The bread pudding dessert was absolutely delicious as were the salad and entrees.

We have dined at Frankie Rowland's twice and love the food. We enjoyed a Valentine's dinner there last night, and were thankful that we were able to order from their regular menu. We began with drinks in the bar. There is nothing special about the atmosphere in the bar and we will likely skip that in the future. We were seated at a lovely table in the main dining room. Ambience is 5 stars. We like that tables have some space between them. Our server was attentive, if a bit over the top in her presentations at times. We ordered beverages followed by an appetizer. The artisinal cheese plate was wonderful with a large variety of items and plenty for two to share. There was a very long wait between the completion of our appetizer and arrival of our steaks, about 30-45 minutes. My filet was perfectly cooked and very tender. I love the crusty finish, but do wish that salt was limited. I like well salted food, but will ask for a lighter touch of that next visit as it overwhelmed the flavor of the beef. We added sides of scallops in the most fabulous cream sauce to our entree. We also shared a side of carrots with bacon jam (delicious). We were much too full for dessert, but as it was Valentine's Day, a complimentary chocolate would have been a nice finishing touch to the evening. We will return, but will ask for less salt.

My wife and I came in for Valentine's Day dinner and it may have been one of the best meals I've had in my life. Our steaks, cooked to different temps, were both melt in your mouth perfect. We opted for the Brussel sprouts and potatoes au gratin as our sides and they were also incredible. But the best decision we made was getting the seafood trio special with shrimp, crab meat, and scallops. After eating the seafood I could've drank the sauce. While it wasn't inexpensive, it was worth every penny and I haven't stopped thinking about it all day long.

Great food. Superb preparation. Frankie Rowlands is a high end steak house with two locations. Everything is served a la carte. They offer up to a five course meal of your choosing. They have an extensive wine list and are known for their martinis. There is no dress code but business casual seems to be the standard. We have been to this location twice. The food is great. The steaks are a bit charred for my liking (due to the salt and pepper crust) but they are SO tender and juicy that it makes it worth it. The sides and appetizers are delicious. We love the cheese board and the potatoes au gratin. The portions are great for 2 people and we usually end up take some home. The service is good. Even on busy nights (we went the weekend before Valentine's Day) our waitress was very attentive. There were a few moments that we were left waiting between courses but it gave us time to enjoy our food and our company. The ambience was nice. We sat in a room off of the main floor that has a glass wall looking into the wine "cellar"/fridge. All-in-all we really like FR, but due to the price we have to keep it as a special treat location.

The steak was burnt around the edges. Had no taste. Spinach, Brussel sprouts and scallop potatoes were good. Bread and butter did not taste good. Chocolate lava cake was good but small. Price was way too high for the quality of food. Off bucket list and will not recommend to others.

The food was good. The service was good; however, if I am going to drop $300 for a meal I don't want the guy next to me in a bowling shirt, or the next table a guy wearing a flannel shirt. Is really too much to ask for a dress code?
