I called a few days later because I had left a jacket on the back of my chair. I asked if I could pay to have it shipped to me. They offered to ship it for free. “This was our first time going to Lucky and went at the advice of a friend. We were not disappointed! From the time we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess/server and brought to our table. We dined on the garlic scrapes an appetizer and amazing! The kimchi, garlic, soy and honey along with the fried garlic scrapes were an unlikely combo, but oh wow- did it work. I dined on the shrimp and grits, which was a new take on the classic and everything on the plate was perfect. My husband opted for the evenings chef special, which was Spanish cooked octopus. If done incorrectly, octopus can taste like a tire; but this was so tender you could cut it with a fork. It had a slight heat on the back end with chili flakes. Dessert we had the “davaroos” which are homemade lavender shortbread cookies with a lemon curd sauce. It was delicious!! Don't even get me started on the craft cocktails. Whatever you can think of, they can make and impeccably I might add . Hands down an amazing experience. We will be back!“

“Gluten allergy here and a vegetarian . We both were able to eat here. Wanted the duck with risotto but told there were no substitutions. Bummer. Nonetheless the chef was excellent and food sourced freshly. The service was good. The food and service gets it five stars but they need to allow substitutions. I get why they don't though — it was very busy. Parking was confusing cause the lot is down the street and a lot of spots say LUNA in the parking spot but customers for Fortunato can park there.“

“I used to really love this place and go almost every week day but now I kind of go there maybe once a week and only because it's conveniently located but the convenience factor has taken a nose dive because of one recent development: When I pay $5 or $6 for a specialty iced coffee is it too much to ask that it comes with a lid that won't leak? It drips all over my hands all the way to my office and I have to change cups when I get there. If ya get a shipment of faulty lids why not just send them back? I'd rather have no lid at all than the illusion of a lid.“

“I have one of these back home in JC, Tennessee. And man let me tell you that this location in Roanoke BLOWS the JC one out of the water!

Never have I ever had fresh sushi that tasted like it was a sushi based restaurant at a BUFFET!

Some other items were just alright, but the sushi and grill were OUT of this water!

I definitely recommend getting their honey chicken, grill, sushi, white rice (cooked to perfection), and egg rolls! I’m very harsh when it comes to egg rolls but the ones here taste just like they do back at home!

And all of this for less than 20 bucks? You could never go wrong with this eatery!“

“10/10! First off, the food is amazing. The wings were nice and crispy and just enough sauce. The pizza was SO GOOD! Plenty of toppings and the crust was light, fluffy and tasty.
