As a Mexican guy who grew up in the Southwest, I highly recommend this place. I'm always on the lookout for authentic Mexican food and this place comes really dang close (I set a pretty high bar). The rice and beans are very good. The tortillas soup very flavorful. And the fajitas were perfectly tender. Even the salsa was really authentic. I could use more spice but that's just me. Service was okay, young lady definitely needs more practice or was having an off day not sure I’m not from here. Food was very yummy, my family and I enjoyed it BUT THE TRES LECHES. Literally NOT tres leches AT ALL. It was a huge piece of cake with caramel on top and the “tres leches” mixture on the outside. It wasn’t the worst cake but it’s not tres leches. Absolutely love Chuys. We travel all the way from DC and walk from the metro to come here. Everything tastes exactly like it did at the Chuys back in Texas. Always friendly service and tons of leftovers.
