“You can't go wrong with any dish at Hondupollo! I've tried everything and my favorite is the pollo con tajada (fried chicken with banana chips) and the baleadas.
The place is packed most of the time so be smart and order via Call ahead!“
“This place looked good so we wanted to give it a try. We got the pollo saltado (chicken with red onion and fries in a tasty sauce with rice) and pesto lomo (beef with spaghetti in a basil pesto). Both were served with garlic bread, and both were delicious. I asked for the chicken to be without tomatoes. Unfortunately it was served with tomatoes, but Geraldine apologized and quickly replaced it with no tomatoes. We also tried the raspberry cola inglesa (yum) and flancocho - a chocolate / vanilla-ish (?) cake that was delicious. The prices seemed a bit high, but the food and menu seemed very authentic. 100% Peruvian according to them... Our bill said "Hot and cold" so maybe it's their partner?“

“Love Pollo Campero! The only downside to this location was when we ordered our two-piece chicken meals, they said it was going to take 40 minutes because they had to make more chicken! It only ended up taking 10-15 minutes, so that was nice, but shouldn’t a chicken restaurant have chicken ready all the time? Super yummy though! Love the plantains 😋“

“Food: cheese pupusa, lomo saltado. Pupusa was good, but the red sauce and cabbage were flavorless. The lomo saltado was delicious, not overly salty, meat was very tender.
Service: excellent, but I was the only sit-down customer in the place. Servers, two, had friendly demeanors. They greeted me in Spanish, but switched to English when they realized I don't speak the language.
Atmosphere: plain. Dine in area seemed to be clean. Had 2 TVs, not blaring. Minimalist decor. Good enough for me. Go for the food, not ambiance.“
