This is a diamond in the rough. Super good German food. If you are in the area, lunch or dinner is a good call. I had a late night meal, stuffed cabbage. I got their at 8:45 pm and was greated and served a wonderful meal. Lots of good choices and great beer on tap. I highly recommend a stop if you are traveling along interstate 81 in Staunton, VA.I just stopped on March 31st., 2024, I had sauerbraten, home run. I highly recommend a visit.
Edelweiss is a perfect place to relax in its cozy and inviting environment after an incredibly long road trip. The jägerschnitzel was nice and crispy, and the mushroom and onion sauce went wonderfully with it. The sauerbraten was so tender and flavorful, and the sauce that goes with it... it is to die for. I hope to revisit this place again!

So delicious. The sampler was an amazing treat, allowing you to sample 5 different dishes. Was alot of food. Everything was so good. Have it saved on our Google map so that we can eat here again when we are traveling again.
