It’s a fun place to stop. A small business that operates out of the back of a residence. The pastries are out of this world - good! A real treat for your taste buds. You can tell he uses only the best ingredients and a time consuming attention to detail. Love it.
We met the Baker, and his wife. Had a nice conversation. Blown away by the old world atmosphere. Prices are well worth the quality. Farm fresh eggs, real ingredients with no additives, TRUE FOOD. Only wish I had tried them earlier.
Giancarlo's is a wonderful little bakery in a neighborhood off of Beverley. He makes so many wonderful baked goods. Everything is made with a level of detail that goes way beyond your typical bakery. He puts a lot of thought into everything he makes and it really shows. He makes an incredible gluten-free cake. We got one for a birthday and it was incredible.
