“Our experience was 5 out of 5. This brand is always consistent and dependable. No surprises. Comfortable , clean rooms, nice amenities and easy check in. We had dinner in the restaurant and Izzy was our server. She was so attentive and pleasant it made our experience really enjoyable. We were the only diners and saw many people leaving the hotel at dinner time. No doubt for wonderful restaurants but I suggest they try what the hotel has to offer. Steaks were excellent, vegetables and potatoes cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Thoroughly enjoyed this property.“

“Enjoyed a two-night stay in the spacious innkeeper's room, which was really a 200-year-old suite with period furniture. Charming! This place has so much history dating back to 1797. We loved the dishes at Larrick's Tavern. It's far from our home but we would come back.

Rooms: Many rooms have genuine antiques, others have period furniture, but all rooms are spacious and comfortable.“

“The bartender from Saugertis is a customer service pro! She also made good drinks! Our server at breakfast the next morning was also excellent! We only ate breakfast at the restaurant and we enjoyed it. I only have 2 suggestions regarding the atmosphere. There are some lights on the walls that have flickering bulbs. One was by our table. We found them disturbing. The lamps on top of the bar should not be there. They interfere with conversations because you constantly have to maneuver your head around them to talk to others. They are both easy fixes. We would not hesitate to come back! Thanks again for the great service!“

The food was fresh and diverse -- probably the best homemade veggie burger we've found in a while, with a nice crunch to complement the excellent flavors, and probably 50 different combinations on the menu to dress it up. And our bartender was very impressive -- they got unexpectedly slammed with a 2 pm lunch rush, but the bartender took care of everyone with calm, friendliness, and spot-on recommendations about their orders. “This is definately one of my go to places. not a franchise which is refreshing for this area and the staff are friendly and professional. Food is always good. Daughter got the chicken marsala and I got the ahi tuna appetizer with a salad and was primo!!! Happy hour is really good here too. Lots of food options that are well priced. At the end of a shift I would expect to not necessarily be greeted with such enthusiasm but those staff members greeted me like it was the start of the day! I absolutely loved the garlic fries and the jalapeño burger had a kick to it. My family members ordered the mushroom Swiss & the lava queso. They both enjoyed it. However, he wished that the lava queso did not have that much sauce when trying to take a bite. Overall, I enjoyed my meal!

“Arrived mid-afternoon and found it easy to set up our Fifth wheel. Once settled we strolled into the brewery where David welcomed us. The beer choices were great and we enjoyed our burgers for dinner. It was our first Harvest Host experience and it did not disappoint.“
