“Not real healthy but a good comfort food“

“Edit. 6/6/24 The GM reached out and corrected everything gave me a full refund. I ordered a shake to try out a peanut butter shake and it was delicious. Thank you for correcting this. I have several things to talk about. I ordered 2 meals, a kids meal, and a blizzard. Almost 40 bucks. So that's an issue by itself. I specifically requested the burger only have ketchup. It's even on the receipt. It came with mustard and pickles. Not a huge deal. But annoying. I ordered 2 sodas as well. NEITHER of then had syrup. It was just carbonated water. Like I ordered a Dr pepper. It was clear. Make that make sense. I ordered a dilly bar. They gave me a sugar free one. Wtf. I'm 195 and 6"2' and pretty active. I don't need help with my one cheat meal a week. I also ordered a burger with a single patty. They gave me a double and charged me for a double. So quick recap. I paid almost 40 bucks for HALF of my order to be completely wrong and 1/4 of the order to be inedible. So I'm kinda pissed off as we don't grab fast food a lot. This just reinforces not going anywhere.“

“This is the best Hardee's in the area. If you have to choose between this location and Staunton, go to this one. I have been here a few times at the drive through and the workers at the window are responsive and just all around nice. The food seems like it has just been made. I haven't had anything that seems like it has been sitting under a heat lamp too long. I highly recommend, especially if you have never had a burger from Hardee's. Their burgers are better than McDonald's and truly dethrone anything at Burger King.“

“Dinner was later than usual since we were out in town. Tried a new place for us! Grilled Chicken salad, Chef Salad, penne pasta with meatballs and the pizza was just because we had to try it! 😆 It was DELICIOUS!!! The salad was extra fresh!! staff were very nice!! “I picked up a Whopper at the drive-thru window on Whopper Wednesday. I was happy to see that the burger was decent size again and for $3,99 is a good value but I wouldn't want to pay 7 or 8 bucks for it. It tasted great and the personnel was very friendly“

“I've always loved Applebee's food and atmosphere but today I was greeted by a wonderful server named Brandon. You can't miss him as he is over 6 ft tall. He was kind and courteous. Got our order correct and even checked to make sure our steak was cooked correctly. If you go to this Applebee's ask for Brandon and give him a big tip.“

“My first visit to Marino’s since the renovation! Boy was I surprised! The owners have done a fantastic job with the decor ! The bar area is very inviting and the outdoor seating area is spacious with comfortable chairs and couches . I was there for a Friday night jam session and I wasn’t disappointed. A wonderful feeling to relax to live bluegrass music enjoying Marino’s signature hamburger with sweet potato fries! I also ordered the pimento cheese spread as an appetizer….which was the best! The staff were very personable and made me feel welcomed . I would definitely stop by Marino’s for the food and entertainment .. you will not be disappointed.“

“We randomly searched for a place to grab a bite and found Tailgate Grill. Not knowing much about it, or even previously hearing anything, it can be a bit worrisome based on food choices and allergies. Thankfully, we gave them a try. We each went simple and got a cheeseburger and fries. Pleasantly surprised is not even close to how happy we were to find this place. It was clean, the entire staff were great, the food was fresh, the atmosphere has a lot of windows so it was nice and bright. Bonus, my husband really liked their sweet tea, which if you're from the south, you know the importance of that.“

“Jennifer, our server is also the manager. We have never, ever gotten a bad meal or poor service! She is top notch, remembering all her "regulars" and exactly what they like! Always friendly and cheerful, she takes pride in what she does everyday which is so refreshing! It has become our favorite spot since moving to Staunton. The best steak and cheese in town!
