“Friendly people ,Good Food, Great Prices ! The only pick-up window in Surry ! Call your order in and it's ready to go in 15-20 minutes which is the amount of time it takes to leave the house and drive there. Great subs that are bigger than the chain stores, personal size pizzas, Vinny's snack pack, a large order of cheese fries with bacon and don't forget they have large salads tooo!”
“What really makes this place is Katie the manager. She is an outstanding human being, who truly cares for her guests. She makes you feel at home and welcome. The rooms were very clean because she cares about guest satisfaction! If you’re looking for a place in Surrey, that’s clean, comfortable and super friendly. You can’t go wrong here!”
“It's slightly above average Chinese food...prices are also pretty good, especially considering the portions and amount of protein/veg they add in food. Was a bit disappointed they didn't have fried oysters (as advertised online) or BBQ spare ribs (wasn't advertised online). I'm nit picking a bit, but egg rolls could have been improved by adding carrots and inside environment could be revamped a bit. Waitress/phone lady/hostess was very busy but very nice.”
“Great food with outdoor seating and wonderful sunset. Best mule I've ever had! Some guy caught a H U G E catfish while we were there, too. AwesomeFood & drinks: We did not stay. We ate. Sorry”
“I am a true foodie, have traveled to over 30 countries always seeking the very best restaurants I could find, and Fat Canary is one of the best....hands down ! .....the food is amazing, the soups are truly chef masterpieces. The service is always amazing. Do not believe any negative comments, I know this is an amazing restaurant based on my experiences.”
“I lived in PA for 40+ years and have eaten at almost every decent Philly Cheese Steak shop between Philly and Harrisburg. Tip: The best Philly cheese steak is in Harrisburg and Hampden Township.Rick's makes a pretty good cheese steak. The rolls aren't quite as good as Philly Amoroso rolls. But they are dense and support the cheese steak well. Nice crust and chewy texture. High quality meat and lots of it! Most beef I've ever had on a quality cheese steak. I prefer provolone, onions, sauce and light hot peppers. Rick's mixes the cheese into everything on the grill, including the sauce. I prefer the sauce poured over the steak in the hoagie roll. Sauce maintains it's flavor that way. But all in all, an excellent cheese steak.French fries were slightly under done. Need to be crispier with more color. Fries are large crinkle cut.Server was friendly and efficient. Knew his product well. The restaurant was clean and bright. Apparently it has been recently remodeled. Steady stream of business on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking. We'll be back!”
“The food here at Berrets is amazing and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing if you want a place to eat that aren't going to break the bank this is the place for you.”
“As a Cuban who has lived in Richmond for the past two years, I have been so disappointed by the lack of authentic Cuban cuisine and false advertisement of such at certain restaurants. Ironically enough, having been at a “Cuban” restaurant for breakfast led me to research actual authentic Cuban cuisine, which is how I found K’Bola. We drove an hour out to Williamsburg just to have our cravings satisfied and it did not disappoint! The food is absolutely delicious, 100% authentic, and the service is 10/10. We will definitely be coming back for more and don’t mind making the drive at all. So worth it!”
“We are so excited to claim Marsala Craft Indian Kitchen as our new favorite restaurant in Williamsburg, VA! We felt a genuine warm hospitable welcome as we were seated immediately in a lovely atmosphere. The quality of service was so impressive and it was obvious that the family who owns Marsala Craft went above and beyond to accommodate our family’s dining needs. Our choice meals were absolutely the best Indian food we’ve ever had! We loved the comfortable vibes, while enjoying every bite of deliciousness! We thank you for your impeccable quality of food and service. You certainly exceeded our expectations! We look forward to trying new menu options and of course making more memories for years to come!!”
“Absolutely a must do if you are in Colonial Williamsburg. Authentic experience complete with music, colonial dress and even a few other suprises that only enhance the overall vibe. I wasn't sure what to expect from the menu as the offerings weren't as numerous as one might expect. We had the Chicken, and To Fry Fish and both were 6 Stars on a 5 Star scale. Cannot wait to go back!!”
“Laura is a sharp, attentive, friendly and personable server. The food and drink are locally sourced and they're gluten and allergy friendly. Highly recommend!”
“We happened upon this spot because everything else was super crowded. It was busy here too but the bar area was open seating and we quickly snagged 2 spots. We ordered drinks & pizza at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. They accidentally fixed our pizza incorrectly but quickly remade it. They offered us the first pizza for free, so we had a lot of pizza! I recommend the thin crust, it was really good.”
“After drooling over their social media, my husband and I decided it was high time to pay The Meadows Original Frozen Custard a visit! This charming frozen custard shop is located just off Colonial Williamsburg, and they boast an ever changing menu of specialty flavors. What I’ve learned from Facebook is that The Meadows truly does take time and care to create the most exciting and unusual flavors, fresh daily, and today’s specialty flavors were lemon lavender shortbread and chocolate peanut butter cup.Of course, we are creatures of habit, seeking out the best Oreo frozen treats one could possibly find, so we both ordered the Oreo Arctic Swirl, in vanilla custard - we were given the option to try chocolate custard as well.An Arctic Swirl is a blend of sizable Oreo chunks; in fact, I believe I saw half-pieces of cookies tucked away in the folds of the luxurious frozen custard. I’ve never had such rich frozen custard, and my husband explained to me that custard contains egg yolks, which ice cream does not.Given the friendly and helpful customer service we received on our first visit, we’ll likely be returning soon! I’m keeping an eye on those flavor specials, as I am a die-hard chocolate mint fan myself!Parking: If you can't find a spot directly behind the shop, there is plenty of parking in the adjacent lot.”
“Amazing food! The first bite takes you to Louisiana! Our food was made to order and came out fresh and crispy! The fillet of catfish was so big we couldn't close the Box! The gator poboy was mouth-watering!”
“Wait staff is good, food is good and comes in large portions wish we knew this before we ordered so we could have planned accordingly other than that everything was good.”
“If you are visiting Colonial Williamsburg, this is a one-of-a-kind must try restaurant! The food was so good, we ate here a second time. The Welsh rarebit was delicious enough to get twice! I wasnt fond of the onion pie. We got the snow eggs and peanut butter pie for dessert and both were tasty, but if your looking to try something new, go for the snow eggs! Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in town!”
“We recently visited here for our friend's birthday. The atmosphere was very nice, upscale with a decent volume level so your table can enjoy conversation.First off... our waitress was amazing! Super cute and her high-pitched voice was very fun and inviting. She helped my wife find a wine that she liked, which ended up being our waitress's suggestion. Only took 3 tries ?. Our other drinks were great. We started with a shrimp cocktail and the ahi tuna. Both were delicious, although we agreed the cocktail sauce could use more horseradish. The birthday boy actually liked the tuna which was a huge surprise! For our entrees, three of us got the porterhouse steak and my wife got the stuffed shrimp. Two of the steaks arrived a bit overcooked, which we promptly replaced with new ones cooked to perfection. They shine a flashlight to ensure it's cooked properly, and the manager made sure things were right for our table. Again our waitress was amazing during the serving, and I wish I could remember her name. The birthday boy got a free dessert and we took a key lime pie home to enjoy later. All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening. We will definitely return for special occasions in the future!”
“Great place, great food and friendly service. Will definitely go back. Location right along the bike trail. We had a rueben sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup and they were both tasty.”
“We have enjoyed our many dining experiences at Gabriel Archer Tavern. There are always excellent options including seafood, beef or vegetarian. Great selections available for desserts. On campus wine selections should satisfy most palates.”
“The authenticity and deliciousness of the different dishes are unforgettable. For anyone who has eaten in Peru or would like to try incredible Peruvian food, please take the time and visit.”
“Finding myself as the typical tourist in Williamsburg, hunger struck at the most inconvenient of times - when seemingly every restaurant in town was closed. In my quest for sustenance, I stumbled upon the Gold Course Clubhouse Grill, a beacon of hope amidst my culinary dilemma. As I walked in, I was greeted by the serene sight of a few patrons enjoying their meals with a picturesque view of the golf course. The place was quiet, almost a hidden gem away from the usual tourist buzz. With limited options at hand, I crossed my fingers for decent food and prices. Fortune smiled upon me - not only were the prices reasonable, but the BBQ was a revelation. Each bite was a delightful surprise, far exceeding my expectations of a golf course grill. The service? Impeccable. Attentive and friendly, the staff made sure my impromptu dining experience was nothing short of excellent. The ambiance of the grill was exactly what you'd expect from a clubhouse - comfortable, with a touch of elegance. It turned out to be the perfect retreat from the typical tourist traps, offering a satisfying and peaceful dining experience. For anyone wandering around Williamsburg looking for a good meal, the Gold Course Clubhouse Grill is a hidden treasure worth discovering.”
“Great hidden treasure right near William + Mary Campus! Traveling for soccer and we always are searching for a good smoothie bar. This place checked all the boxes! We were able to snag a couple of delicious smoothies and açaí bowls to go. Service was top tier! Everything was freshly made to order and my girls and I loved every sip/bite.”
“What a nice experience for my 1st time there and amazing cookies! Wonderful and personable customer service along with the best cookies I've ever had.. Thank you so much and we will be back.”
“Stop by on a whim and had a complete blast. Great location, Great Selection of drinks from beers to various seltzer drinks. The guys working were fun to chat with. Will be back.”
“I decided to try this place because I heard it was good. When I walked in the lights were dimmed and it was a relaxing setting. The girls working that day were friendly and went over the menu since it was my first time. I had ordered one of their specials drinks. It was a Cadbury egg coffee smoothie. It was delicious and not that sweet. I will be trying something else from the coffee shop.”
“Omg this place makes fresh guacamole in front of you, with your chips and salsa! The food was great and tasted amazing! Definitely my Mexican go-to for when I'm in the area!”
“Great restaurant. The food is delicious. Every time I've been it's been crowded and noisy, but that's a factor of the limited space in colonial Williamsburg.”
“Best Mexican in Williamsburg hands down. I love the taco selection - every one I have tried so far has been absolutely delicious. My favorite so far is the taco de lengua. I love the sides of pickled red onions, radish, and the flame roasted jalapeño. The 3 taco salsas are also on point - I assume they are a chile de arbol red salsa, a salsa verde, and a jalapeño salsa. My only disappointment is the salsa served with the chips - it’s kind of boring which is surprising given how delicious everything else is.”
“We went here last night to try the hookah bar that we heard is new in town. There weren't many people there but it had a great vibe and atmosphere. Our waitress Porsche was very friendly :) Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to socialize. The hookah was very affordable and tasted so good. We went with blueberry mint”
“Amazing cakes! Beautiful custom designs! My mother loves the Wizard of Oz Themed cupcakes, and my job loves the custom-made sheet cakes I request for special occasions!”
