Ice Cream Shops near Tappahannock

“It is always a treat to into this place. The single scoop is enough for two people really, and it is tasty Hersheys brand. The real draw is the memorabilia for me though. Tons of carnival ride objects throughout the spacious seating area, and smaller interesting things throughout the entire store. There is an antique store associated with them across the street, but, on a Saturday anyway, closed at 1700. There was some cool stuff on the sidewalk that I would've picked up, but we arrived there at 1715! Thought maybe the ice cream employees might be able to complete the transaction, but alas no. Next time. Polite staff, and a whale of a good time to be had for those that enjoy a look back in time!
For those who have not been, Tappahannock is a really cool return to the days of small town America, and if you can time it the festivals that we caught were fun.“
