I had such a great experience here yesterday for brunch. We had a group of 5 come in at opening at 11am. Our server was super nice and patient with us. I had mentioned to her that this was my first time at this BC location and she was nice enough to bring me a complimentary chips with tomato/cheese sauce. I really appreciated this. The updated store seems more sterile. More corporate less, "coffee shop" atmosphere.The quaintness is gone, ?.Staff is always great.Vegetarian options: You need to ask. Hopefully the staff knows.Dietary restrictions: I know gluten-free is available.

The restaurant was very clean and the service was good but i found it overly expensive for what I ordered. 1/2 of a non-meat sandwich and a small cup of lukewarm tomato soup with a cup of coffee ended up being over $30 with the standard tip. The food was not exceptional so it did not live up to the price tag. There are plenty of other options for a quick lunch in this area so I will give it a pass in the future.
