“Expensive but delicious. Not an everyday thing but great for a special occasion. The red sauce was strange and didn’t go well with the casadilla. More of a seafood sauce. For oysters or blackened fish.
A simple fresh picante would bring me back. It kind of inhibits me to order wraps that I don’t know exactly what’s in them. Good luck.“

Sammiches, mac and cheese, all entirely vegan and made in house! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff are wonderful. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable about the products.“

“Having resided in Virginia Beach and now living in the Chicago west suburbs, I have always been fond of this establishment. The customer service is absolutely second to none, featuring a welcoming staff and an expanding array of food products. Their popularity has continued to grow, partly due to media exposure. While my recent visit was pleasant, I observed that their pandesal tasted slightly different. The signature flavor that I have loved for years seemed to be missing. Has Angie's introduced any recent changes to their ingredients? I have several questions, but I shall refrain from asking further. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Angie's Bakery.“

“If your first thought was "no one needs a $5 cookie", you're so very incorrect. I speak from experience! Someone else bought a crumbl sugar cookie with strawberry icing and gave it to me to try. I melted into a puddle on the first bite. Best experience my taste buds have ever had! I saved half of it to eat later so I could enjoy it to the fullest and end my day with something amazing. Everyone needs a $5 Crumbl cookie.“

“Put in my GPS, closest bakery to my location and it took me to heaven! When I tell you that this place is so freaking CUTE! Everything looked so fresh and yummy! I got the pumpkin cold brew with the little ghosts as well as a cookies and cream cake pop, a cookie dough bar, banana pudding cheesecake slice and a 4 pack of the brown sugar espresso biscutti. Every time my husband wants a Lego, I will be having this!!!“

She worked with us to make sure we had a great tasting cake and excellent experience in the process. My husband does not like traditional cake so I googled cheesecake wedding cakes and this lovely lady popped up. She has great communication and makes amazing cake. I’m so happy we went with you! We ordered 90 assorted cupcakes and a 6 inch key lime cheesecake cutting cake. She made that cutting cake look like an actual wedding cake. People thought it was normal cake! Had a orthodontist appt next door, forgot to order his cake in advanced but thank goodness Sugar Plum Bakery was right there with a small birthday cake ready to take out the door; fresh, cute and traditional. Customer service is truly wonderful; person helping me asked if I wanted it to say anything; was impressed that she was able to beautifully write, “Happy Birthday Jeremy” , on a 6” round cake.“

“I called the bakery today I live in New Jersey. I have a friend that is ill and in a facility close by the bakery today is her birthday. I had no way of getting down there to bring her a cake. I asked the woman on the phone do you deliver and she said we really don’t and then I explained the situation and she’s so kindly said That when she closed the store, she will personally deliver it herself. That was the sweetest thing I’ve heard in a very long time and I want to tell you that you brought tears to and the biggest smile to my friend today. “Wonderful hidden gem in VB central to oceanfront and town center. Delicious European desserts that are light, airy and unusual with wonderful unique flavor combinations. So many are too pretty to eat but I find a way. lol. Sandwiches, soups and salads along with a few other choices for those looking for a light lunch. Try the beet salad, you won’t be sorry! Best bakery in Hampton roads.“

They each approach the classes differently and that keeps things interesting! “I have been going to 17 Hands for years now. What I noticed today was how insanely expensive their coffee has become. I always knew their baked goods were on the pricey side but they are also just about the best I have ever had so I figured it was worth it. But $10 for a large oatmilk latte is crazy. My small iced shaken espresso was $9.40! So while I definitely agree that they offer a greatly superior product, my income has priced me out of coming back :(“
